Hotel canceled my reservation and never communicated that to me so I showed up only to find out that info at the front desk. Had to scramble to find another room last minute. Terrible customer service!

The staff is all very nice but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The room is essentially a concrete block. It has AC which is a plus but it doesn’t work very well. Definitely not worth the money.

I traveled for 26 hours, landed in Africa at 11pm and was told that this hotel was booked. I showed them my receipt, showing my confirmation and they still did not care. They gave my room away and the rude woman at the front desk repeatedly just said "we are full, we are booked" leaving my stranded to find a new place to stay at nearly midnight. Don't stay here, it's not worth it.

This place is gorgeous! Staff is amazing, beautiful rooms, great food. Trust the process of getting there. The road in is a little discouraging, but you’ll be so happy when you arrive. Highly recommend for a nearby airport stay.

Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here
