At the front desk Jose was very congenial and helpful as was most of the staff. There was one young man who was busy on his phone and not very communicative. The room was basic and comfortable and the parking and free breakfast was appreciated.

The stairs, particularly since we were on the 4th floor, about did us in. With its high ceilings, the climb is very hard. The area is not exactly inviting.

Cute hotel with a nice history! Convenient location too. I enjoyed the breakfast. The room was comfortable and had a nice little kitchenette if you wanted to stay longer. The worst parts are the shower and the mosquitoes at breakfast in the outdoor area. The shower flooded the bathroom because the drain was clogged. I thought the cleaning person should have realized this if the shower was cleaned, since it flooded immediately. The breakfast offered was very nice with many options. As I was enjoying my coffee, I ended up with very itchy legs due to the 13 mosquito bites. A fan on the floor would have helped them not to land on me.

The room was clean and organized. The hotel location is in the Center of Río Piedras. Near, You have an ice cream store, pharmacy and a Police Headquarters. Also, You have ATI a Train Station beside the hotel. The TV service in the room was available in spanish and English. Even the Smartv they have in the room allows You to connect with tour phone using Airplay and or Smart Connect. The services of iron, iron board, blower and iron for the hair, You asked for them in front desk. Over all service, excellent.

A very old hotel in a rundown section of town where no saying individual would dare to venture out at night with no stairs no air conditioning in the public areas and a window unit in each of the rooms which looks like it might have been made in the 1950s and works like it was made in the 1950s and last service then

I stayed two nights for a conference at a local college. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and basic. If you plan just to stay at the hotel to sleep, it was good. Staff were nice and present 24 hours. Furniture was very basic, air conditioning was good. Some people reported that there was no hot water. I stayed on the third floor and had hot water but had to let it run for about five minutes. Shower was rather low-flow. Breakfast is served in a room off the lobby. Breakfast is continental with croissants, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee. The hotel is located in an area that would be called “developing”. There is some new shops (ice cream, bakery, pizza place) and an outdoor market a few blocks straight out the front door and to the left. Many places in the market close by 5pm. Being a non-Spanish speaker, I kind of stood out and felt self-conscious. I would not call the area unsafe, but there were some people who looked homeless in the square across from the hotel. There is a train station literally next door to the hotel but it is pretty quiet (subway?). There’s a Catholic Church across the street, and a police station a block or two from the hotel to the right past the church. Within walking distance: chain coffee shop (I forget the name, but not Starbucks) make a left out the door and a block or two down the street.

I left the following day March 22, 2025 at 8:45 am I did not stay until the 24th so a refund is due. I tried contacting you on the website, but it is not user friendly and was not able to communicate sooner. I would not recommend this place to anyone the neighborhood looks like a slum, most of the buildings are vacant and graffitied and it is unsafe to bring my family dining facilities looked even worse. NEVER AGAIN!!! NO elevator had to walk up 3 flights of stairs this would not work for an elderly person.
