Horrible bed and pillow, would not go there again.

Great and Modern Hotel.

Close to train station. Hot day and AC was not working!!

It was very clean and neat. And the stuff was very kind and helpful.

One night in Basel and near the station. Surprised at level of facilities (much better than expected), included breakfast and lack of noise.

Clean, efficient suite with kitchen, living room, two twin beds and bath. Very nice and fairly inexpensive.

I had a lovely private room with bath, I used the kitchen at the YMCA hostel next door. They also stored by bags for me on the day of leaving so could walk around without them. The staff at YMCA were very helpful and there is a small shop/restaurant for snacks and drinks. Totally recommend!

Situated right behind the Train Station, the location is perfect for travelling around Basel. The free teas and coffees were a welcome surprise as there was an hour delay in check in before the room was ready. Only quibble was the puzzling rule about not having alcohol in your room, quite bizarre really.

Easy to find near train and tram transport and close to major sites

One night stay for a champions league game 5 minutes from the back of train station , checkin at 3pm because room was not ready but facilities are good and so is the price for Basel

The YMCA was very near to supermarket around the conner and two blocks to railroad station. Also, you could walk to the major tourist sites.

I was very pleasantly surprised at my room! Spacious, comfortable and there was a Nespresso! It was also quiet and the area appeared quite safe. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Pleasant all round. Excellent room for resting and sleeping - but requiring shift into YMCA social area (I was in Stay@SBB) for work, planning and coffee etc. Nice little garden, though the little low tables should be wiped clean every few hours instead of never; not keen on unemptied ashtrays, either. Wonderful to have free coffee on tap. Easy atmosphere, everyone doing their own thing, though watch out for certain groups who might colonise the kitchen - should be more rules there. Great location for the train station, which itself has some good shopping facilities - late-hours CoOp not least of all - and therefore trams that go to most city spots. Good value. Free travel pass - for my three days - much appreciated.

VERY clean hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable beds and they give you a comfy robe/slippers to wear in the hotel. Close 6 min walk from the train station.

Did not think I was staying at a hostel when I booked. After the shock, it was OK, the location was very convenient.

Had a really good time at the hotel, it is very modern and clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the room I got wasn't as big as the one I thought I had booked, or that was showing on my booking confirmation email, not sure if you they use a generic picture?! The room though was very clean and modern, had wifi, but no TV. There is a communal area where you can cook something if you want, an area to eat and relax, as well as a pool table. You can buy breakfast and it's reasonably priced and very nice!

It is conveniently located near main train station and has friendly staff.
