Upon arrival was given a key to our reserved room. Upon entering there was someone already residing in the hotel room with their things put on the desk. Went to the desk they gave us another room. This one we were later told wasnt even supposed to be available. We noted foil over sprinkler system, no drapes, and the fire detector was hanging off the wall. We came back from our concert just to be told that its been noted. The lady didnt even try to rectify the situation. So we spent the night with our room completely open windowed no privacy and safety conpromised in our opinion. To rectify the situation after yet again complaining to the manager was to grant us points towards a stay. No reimbursement and itll take 7 days for our 100 dollar damage deposit back.
We are parents of 8 kids from indiana. We dont get out... the one time we do and it was awful and we felt conpromised and unheard.
The points towards a next stay was a moot point because again we dont ever go out to use them. And they were going to charge us another damage deposit and could have knocked 70 dollars off the hotels prive for another night. Which even with that 70 it was practically cheaper using hotels.com vs going through the hotel with the 70 knocked off.
Awful. Good breakfast, nice bathroom, comfy bed but compromised everything else. Even tried calling the front desk that night to bo answer but she was sitting there when we came down. Shameful.
