I recently stayed for a week at Hôtel Nomad and I can say this hotel is a gem for anyone seeking a blend of historic charm and genuine hospitality. The heritage building is stunning, filled with artistic curiosities that give it a unique personality. The thoughtful attention to detail makes it clear how much the owners cherish the history and atmosphere of the building.
I really loved the parlour room; it is beautiful room and offers a glimpse of the Château Frontenac and the nearby park. Don't miss the teddy bears crafted by a local artist using repurposed vintage furs!
The location is fantastic. It is close to all the major sites yet tucked away on a quiet street. It’s also just a short walk to the Pierre-Dugua-De-Mons Terrace, which is a lovely place to enjoy a picnic and catch the sunset.
As a solo traveler, the hotel truly felt like a home away from home. My standard room was surprisingly spacious, featuring an armchair, an ottoman to put my feet up, and nice lighting. The outdoor space was a treat to enjoy when the sun was out.
What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They were incredibly accommodating, whether they were answering my questions or just engaging in a brief chat about my day. As a first time solo traveller, I really appreciated the moments they took to chat with me.
