I have never experienced such a warm welcome. The couple who run the Inn are fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. They were good enough to provide me a complimentary breakfast. The accommodation itself was very clean and tidy. The owner has created a spectacular environment with wooden floors, panelling and cabinetry that he made himself. They were able to provide me with secure parking for my motorcycle and they also allowed me to leave one of my suitcases at their premises for a week while I travelled elsewhere. My room was below ground and was very comfortable and most importantly was quiet. It had its own bathroom and all the amenities that I needed. Although, they also provided much superior rooms and gave me the choice of which room to take. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any traveller and I hope to use them again in the future.

A beautiful stay Near downtown Calgary

The property was beautiful, and Kim was so sweet! It was a very nice alternative to a typical hotel room. I didn’t even get to take advantage of the mini putt or the hammocks, but I will be back another time!

Beautiful space and owners are lovely and super accommodating, went out of her way with my food allergies. Very very pleasant stay, tremendous location as well.

This inn was perfect for our week long stay in Calgary. We had a beautiful room and the owners were extremely helpful, generous and accommodating. It's a 15 minute walk to downtown along the river and right by running and bike paths.

Kim and her husband are amazing hospitality naturals. This is more of a B&B than a hotel. I had everything I needed for my 3 night stay. Kim and her husband had a lovely breakfast prepared every morning, and were very kind with the way they checked in on me. It felt like I was staying with family or friends. Their kitchen is always stocked with snacks, coffee, soda, and water and they gave great travel advice. I did not drive but it looked like there was plenty of street parking. Would definitely stay here again!

The initial welcome was excellent. Access and parking at the property was well explained. Our bags were retrieved from our car and delivered to our room. The rooms were almost soundproof through the night in spite of being just off of memorial drive. A reasonable walk to the Kensington shopping and entertainment district. The hostess, Kim, was very friendly and helpful with the breakfast offerings in the morning. We have no problem in recommending this B&B to anyone visiting Calgary.

I booked last minute during stampede just hoping to get anything. But I was absolutely blown away by both the property itself and the amazing hospitality I was offered by the small family run BnB. She was very welcoming, showed me all around the property and I was able to pick from a couple room options that were still available, and I was welcome to any of the water and the snacks in the kitchen. Check in and check out was super easy and they register your vehicle for parking. I was offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning however I let her know I was leaving super early and instead she packed me a sandwich for the road. I would say a stay at this place is a must. The house itself is beautiful. It is close to downtown and was able to walk to the cowboys music festival in about 20mins.

Great location, easily walkable quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful clean rooms with comfortable beds. A very high quality experience with warm caring hosts.

The economy king room is in the basement, which I was unaware of until arrival.

i would never book this again. i booked early check i , and was told to come back later. they have cheap plastic flip flop shoes you are supposed to wear to your room. It is not an Inn, it is a boarding house, it is totally misrepresented. I had to go and book a different room, and booking is not refundable, so it was a waste of money

Great stay, easy.

I was visiting Calgary for a work conference and needed an affordable place to stay within short driving distance to the BMO Centre and this place was perfect! The host family was really nice and attentive and my room was extremely comfortable. It was slightly warm in the room but after mentioning it to Kim she brought me a fan! I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Calgary and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay that’s close to downtown.

Place looks more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, but the place was beautiful and well kept. It was close to downtown and Kensington, but far cheaper. John and Kim were very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

John and Kim were amazing hosts. They were very attentive and answered any and all questions we had about the house. The inn is gorgeous. The location is great, a very quick drive to downtown. A quick walk around the corner to some shops and restaurants as well. Absolutely lovely, will definitely stay again.

The windows in the room didn’t close which led to a very noisy and restless night for us from the noise outside on the streets at night and early morning. Also the bed mattress was kind of sloping on my side of the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was Ok for the price.
