Rooms were clean, tidy and high spec. Comfortable beds. Sad there was no tea/coffee making in the room and it was shared Kitchette in the hallway. Great location for ease of access to underground and central London. We unfortunately stayed when there was an England match on and our room must have been next to a pub/bar as it was super noisy until late. Singing could be heard through the walls! Could also hear the trains under us a lot. Not great if you’re a light sleeper. No fan in the room either. Friends on the top floor said it was quieter but a lot hotter up there but they did have a fan. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Rooms are small but very adequate for our stay and very clean. Location for us was fantastic as we were attending a concert at Hyde Park. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, the stay was okay. The location was great, but the room was unbelievably hot overnight. The fan provided was broken and wouldn’t run properly, and although we left the windows open, they had been closed when we returned, making it impossible to cool the room. We ended up having to wet towels just to keep cool and had a pretty sleepless night. We also had to wait until exactly 2:00 pm to check in, which felt unnecessarily rigid.

The size and equipment of the room/hotel was according to the price, and we had a lovely stay at St. David’s in Paddington. The hotel is situated superbly close to the Paddington station, many restaurants, and Hyde Park. It was over 30 degrees celcius outside under our stay, and the lack of air-conditioning in the room, situated right under the roof, was making sleeping at night kind of difficult. But all things considered, we were very happy with our stay at St. David’s.

We normally book a hotel near Paddington if we’re off on holiday & taking a flight from Heathrow. Although this hotel is perfect for Paddington train station the lack of a lift would stop us from booking here unless other provisions for storing luggage is available. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

It was quite hot in the room I had due to the weather / heatwave. There was a fan but no air-conditioning or easy access to cooler spaces. The room would probably be fine in cooler weather / times of the year. Fortunately, I was mainly using it just as a bed for the night as I had lots of other things planned for my 2 days in London.

Very small room. Ok for 1 person 2 is a squeeze. Like in the movies you could hear the subway trains. That said it is close to Paddington station and is eclectic for a one night stay.

Good stop over hotel but be aware toilet/shower functions are not in the room but located on separate floors where only three exist throughout the whole hotel

Clean stylish rooms and comfortable beds, no AC but a fan was provided for the weather. The bedroom is compact, and there's a lot of stairs but the location is very convenient with Paddington station behind the hotel and surrounding shops a short walk away.

Had a booked this as price was reasonable for an overnight stay on a family trip. We stayed on room 1414, layout a little quirky you walk into the bathroom. Basement room, but had a little outside area so didn’t feel dark. Coffee area just outside the room(plant based milk not my thing). Room really clean. My only comment is that you can hear the tube rumble for most of the night but get that this is out of the hotels control. Central location, number of places to eat locally and two minutes from Paddington station

Small and basic rooms, but clean and feel recently decorated, the en suite bathroom better than expected. Not sure you can get better value this close to Hyde Park. Staff were great

Perfect location for what we needed for a few nights. Stairs are very narrow if you have a lot of luggage. There is some train noise but not terrible. Would stay here again given price and convenience!

This place is fairly basic, but fine. The room was nicely decorated, had a very small shower and a small TV and no ac so it did get very hot during the night. The hotel is in an ideal location if you need to be near to Paddington station but don't expect much from staying here. I stayed here 1 night and it worked out okay but I wouldn't recommend staying here for a long trip.

Worst night stay in a hotel ever. Were shown to a little box room which would have been fine if it didn’t feel like an absolute oven. No ac which again would have been fine but couldn’t keep the window open as the window essentially opened on to reception. Had one little fan to cool the room which did nothing. When we left the room this morning the hallway was easily 10 degrees cooler than our room. Also could not set the deadbolt to lock from the inside as there was no latch for it - not ideal or confortable. But was awake most of the night anyway due to the heat in the room. Fabulously convenient location for Paddington but would never stay here again or recommend.
