The room was clean and comfortable, utensiles and appliances available with art deco touches. No elevator but even to the third floor was not a huge effort. Convenient off the main road location. Great price & value.

Nice historic building in a great location. Easy check-in/out but it was difficult to reach front desk for assistance when needed.

There are no elevators and the stairs are quite steep to the second floor. There was no staff in the lobby after 6 PM, although it said till seven. There is no iron or ironing board in the room and when I called the customer service number no one ever got back to me. It was a lovely room, clean and very aesthetically pleasing. On the way out, the desk clerk at the lobby, acknowledged the issues. He said it would be looked into. I would go back, but you cannot go with anyone that has mobility issues as they would never be able to manage the stairs.

Great downtown location, the rooms in this older hotel have been updated and are lovely, beautiful bathroom.

This is the first time I had stayed at this hotel and I gotta say I was really impressed. According to my sources, it's a new owner. And they've done a lot of renovations, and I gotta tell you, beautiful! The staff was exceptionally helpful when I asked them to mark on the town of cranbrook map.Where the thrift stores were because thrifting in cranbrook is awesome.

The hallway carpet outside our door was dirty with crushed crackers or something when we arrived and still the next day; the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable; every time the heater in the room kicked in the room reeked of pot; there was no body soap or shampoo in the shower… I will never stay there again and do not recommend the Baker Hotel.

Checkin was a breeze. No issues. Fast and courteous. Hotel was clean. Older reno. Room was very clean and tidy. Older reno. Definitly rustic atmosphere.

Spotless room, excellent location. Walking distance to food, coffee, and shopping. Staff was amazing. They even offered to carry our luggage.
