Staff was great, and Brenda was a big help and a pleasure to deal with. Nice rooms, especially the ones with the big balcony. Only negative was the huge St. Regis under construction next door.

Loved this place. Wish they had a bar and restaurant. Very peaceful, quiet and easy access to the beach.

Kind and helpful staff. My rating for the staff is 5. The challenge is the actual property. Poorly designed, built and maintained. Most appliances are not working correctly or at all. The shower faucet came off when turned and almost broke my toe! The BIG issue right now is they are building a huge Saint Regis resort in the lot next to where all the bedrooms face. Construction happened 6:30AM to After 5 6 days a week. This will go on for another tear or so. Finally, the island cannot handle the demand. The airport was a sh!t show. Sardines in a can, we felt like cattle and flights were delayed for no reason. People were totally stressed. Love that island but won’t be back until they have the infrastructure.

Close to the beach, spacious but not well kept: uncomfortable bed, dirty walls, scratches on the furniture, shampoo didn’t get replenished, overall a “sad” experience

Location was very close 2 minute walk to Grace Bay beach. Condo was very spacious and clean with comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was major construction going on right next to condo complex.

The Tides was under construction which we knew but thought it started after 7:00am. It actually started at 6:20 am everyday except for Sunday. There were broken door handles and shower handles that could’ve easily been fixed but they didn’t follow up or do anything to fix while we were there. I was thankful that it was clean and no bug issues! The area was nice, close to the beautiful beach.

Trip started off on wrong foot. No one at front desk when arrived, waited 30 mins for someone to come, elevator broken for entire trip, as was the only treadmill - we were on top floor, room was very dirty - likely in part to construction next store, construction started at 6am every am but Sunday despite manager speaking with them to start later. Safe had no key. Staff, especially Brenda, were nice and tried to make us less unhappy with the situation but it really was not a good value for cost. Location was great though. Expedia or hotel would do nothing to compensate for the many issues.

We thank God for The Tides. Nice quiet boutique hotel that is three minute walking distance from Grace Bay beach! Very spacious with modern amenities. The pool is awesome and they offer complimentary bicycles to ride. Staff went out of the way to accommodate us! We love us some Ms. Brenda. Down the street from Mr. Grouper and Everything your heart desires. The balcony was an added bonus! Budget friendly option on Grace Bay! A hidden gem in TCI! Book here first! We know where we will be next time in TCI!

This was our second stay at The Tides and our fourth visit to the island. As before, the rooms were well appointed and the service staff were very attentive to making our stay most enjoyable (big thanks to Wayne and his team). Although not directly on beach, The Tides is only a two-minute walk (or less than one-minute shuttle ride) from the world famous Grace Bay Beach where guests can access beach umbrellas and loungers. We will definitely be returning to The Tides for our next visit to Providenciales.

Other reviews of this property are accurate. It’s very easy beach access, which is great, and the pool is well maintained. I thought that the unit looked a bit tired relative to the photos (stained furniture, faded curtains), but that will not bother many people who are just there to enjoy the weather and the beach. The only thing that was a bit frustrating for me was that we cook for ourselves down there, and found the kitchen was modestly appointed compared to other places (for example, no kettle, tiny coffee maker, and no baking sheets for cooking in the oven - when I asked if we could have a baking sheet to borrow, I was told they didn’t do that for guests and I would need to buy a disposable one at the store). Again, these things won’t bother many people and if you’re just there to enjoy sun and surf, it’s fine.

Excellent, safe, clean, well furnished, great views, very friedly staff. Brenda the office manager was awesome and very helpful. We enjoyed the free beach towels, umbrellas, bicycles and the beach chairs. There was some construction going on in the next property but it did not bother us. It was a fantastic vacation.

Great location, just a short walk to Grace beach (2-3 minutes away). 3 Beach umbrellas and 6 chairs set up on the beach every day. If more are needed, staff will bring and set up for you. Close to several restaurants (Hemingway’s is excellent for breakfast) and shopping. We stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse. Plenty of room, nice set up. Housekeeping cleaned/restocked every day. Had a minor issue with the sliding doors - several doors were very hard to slide open and close. Pool area was very nice - we didn’t use though. Spent our days at the beach and had a rental car to go to other beaches. Staff is very attentive and quick to address needs. Just an fyi - they are building/doing construction next door. Very loud - they start @6:30am every morning. Really enjoyed our stay.

The Tides is a beautiful property. My husband and I have been to Provo before, we have stayed at resorts directly on the beach. The Tides is just a short walk to the beach, Hemingways, Mr. Groupers, the island Thursday night fish fry, and the front desk is helpful in calling you a taxi if you need one. Close to Bay bistro but was not impressed with their food (this isn’t about them though). The rooms are nice- updated and big! Clean with daily service. The staff are so sweet, loved talking with them and learning about how they ended up in TCI (or if they were born and raised), very polite and made us feel so welcome. We always feel safe on the island but we also use caution as we would anywhere. We were sad to leave, we will be back!

This was my fiancés bday trip. The Tides was not my pick, but his based off the pictures and reviews. He’s pickier than I am, so he was totally upset with our stay. To say I was disappointed as soon as we pulled up was an understatement. I actually wanted to change resorts, but the one I wanted to go to was booked. Expedia photos are very deceiving. Not a beach front hotel as it looks and the pool looks more like a property fountain. They have converted a room into the office/gym. At check in they require a $500 deposit for incidentals, but honestly there is nothing worth $500 there if you ask me. Got into the room and was not as nice as pictures. Limited dishes (4 cups, few plates and silverware), no bowls, miniature pan and 2 pots. The dishwasher door slammed to the ground when opened, utilizing the balcony door was like moving a boulder and did not meet to completely close, shower knobs fell off every time they were touch, made a complaint on first day and since no other rooms were available, was told maintenance would be up and the whole 5 days no one ever came. The room is not equip with any dressers, if it can’t be placed on one of the five provided hangers, you live out of your suite case as we did. Total renovation needed. Resort being built right next to this place and they work 7 days a week so 6 AM people are banging and hollering. No view of the ocean unless your on the right side of the building, you are looking at the next resort and road. Assistance limited
