This was our favorite hotel of our two week trip around Norway & Iceland. This art deco hotel is beautifully maintained and decorated. There was an impressive breakfast every morning, a beautiful pool, and the fastest elevators ever! We also loved the location and easy access to tourist sites. We had a wonderful stay!

best hotel experience in a long time. Somehow they always seem to dissapoint a little - this one did the opposite. Incredible staff also - you don't see that so much these days. Will be coming back.

Incredible stay at Sommerro House!! We were upgraded to a Deluxe Room and we fell instantly in love with the beautiful Art Deco theme. Every single member of staff treated us with kindness and generosity. Breakfast is exceptional, we have stayed at The Four Seasons and their breakfast is nothing compared to Sommerro House. They even made the waffles in a traditional Norwegian way and we were offered coffee to take away with us (we had two cappuccinos for our onward journey). We cannot wait to return here.

This place is great. Absolutely beautiful property. Stunning decor. Different. Interesting. The dining room - wow! Great breakfast. Happening dining and bar on 7th floor. Didn’t check out rooftop pool. But indoor pool and gym area very nice. The surrounding area gorgeous. Nice walking. Beautiful buildings. Excellent restaurants. Oslo very impressive. Much more than we expected. Would return in a heartbeat. This is a great hotel.

Absolutely terrific. Centrally located, the Sommero is a wonderful hotel. The people are thoughtful and kind, the facilities first rate and the value is tremendous especially when you consider that their lavish breakfast is included.

Excellent property with well- maintained amenities in Oslo

This hotel is such an aesthetic. Picture Great Gatsby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Great price. Everything walkable.

I enjoyed the room at Sommerro. It was clean, comfortable bed and unique interior. The breakfast was great. The spa that was included with my room was not worth the hype. I found the corridors and layout with multiple doors and walls difficult to use and not relaxing at all. I would have been better off using my own gym sauna at home and skipping the experience here entirely. If I had known this, I might have paid extra for the top floor spa, but I would probably not return to try it out in the future given this experience. Also, the tv wasn’t working the first night and was told by reception they needed to check to see how long my stay was going to be before they would consider helping me fix it (I was staying 4 nights). I ended up fixing it myself.

Beautiful design and furnishings, spotlessly clean, quiet rooms, exceptionally comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast. We have sysyed here a number of times and think it is the only place to stay in Oslo.

Everything was perfect except navigating the labyrinth maze like underbelly. Twas confusing

The gym was very well appointed: opens at 5am. Very good breakfast. Excellent bed, very quiet room, even on 2nd floor.

I like my room cold and they set the temperature at the front desk for me. The dining and breakfast experience was fantastic. The pool and area was wonderful and the gym was amazing, very large, more equipment than I have ever seen and lots of free healthly drinks and snacks. Small outdoor patio in front to enjoy a glass of wine was lovely.

The place was out of the way and totally electronic, leading us to get locked in a staircase. The gym/sauna

Excellent location and very well run and maintained. If a hotel gym is imoortant to you this is best one I’ve ever seen.

Excellent accommodations and services in a great location to access all Oslo has to offer with transportation at your doorstep. Breakfast was amazing as well!

Great atmosphere. Excellent location! Steps away from the palace and right at the National Theatre train station with direct connection to the airport. So easy! Life music in the sprawling restaurant. Very quiet room. Delicious , elaborate breakfast including a gluten-free selection of bread and cakes. Very friendly reception!

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Sommerro. The staff is attentive and helpful, and we were very pleased with the amenities in our room. The location is excellent with easy parking and all of downtown Oslo's attractions are just a short walk away. That all being said - you could disregard all that and just stay here for the breakfast alone. Hosted in their beautiful art deco bar, walking into the buffet area feels like entering the Chocolate Room in Willy Wonka's factory...never in my life have I seen such a spread. In addition to the most amazing selection of meats/cheeses/granola/fruit/parfaits I have ever seen, their short-order chefs are standing by to create all manner of hot delights (I recommend the eggs Royale.). It is not to be missed.
