Parking space is limited to 4. Bar is just down stair.

Very clean. The room a little hot but supplied with an efficient fan. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, soap, shampoo and hand cream. Ironing board, iron, hairdryer and room safe. Free parking close by.

Tv was a nightmare! Huge screen but on Tuesday I couldn’t turn it off or mute it so had a terrible night. Emergency phone number didn’t respond. After new batteries it still wasn’t working properly. Needs a technician. I’m an elderly solo guest so really missed the tv. I have requested some financial compensation.

Great place to stay with fantastic staff. Easy walking distance to the centre of Ely. Nice spacious rooms. We had a wonderful meal there and would definitely stay again.

The place needs urgent repairs the bathroom in particular

Staff were very friendly and helpful! Very nice pub and the room was great with everything you need. Food was excellent - I was in a rush to leave and they even made my breakfast to take away for me. Would highly recommend!

Nice room, walks a bit thin so you can hear the neighbours.

Comfortable room with everything that was needed for an overnight stay. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Nice staff, parked in council car park at rear of pub. Room good with comfy bed and good decor, no Wi-Fi signal and awful phone signal too. Close to amenities with shops n restaurant's only a pleasant 2 minutes walk. No breakfast available as stated but there are cafes nearby most only open from 9 though

Clean, tidy and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! Check in was quick & easy, lady had great customer service.

Few issues with missing things from the room…hairdryer and remote control for the TV. But the lovely landlady/ manager was amazing and I can thoroughly recommend this place. Central to Ely town…which is absolutely stunning. Truly a great find

Didn't have breakfast and if we wanted nowhere was open or unlocked

Room was clean and comfortable, food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and helpful. The only problem was the remote control for the tv didn't work and staff didn't seem to know how to fix it. While it's certainly not the most important thing we all know 99% of hotels have got TV's in them, it's standard these days so the staff should be trained in how to work or set up the remotes and there should always be spares. There should be a set of instructions near the reception or even in the rooms explaining step by step how to set it up. On the surface it doesn't seem a big issue but as I said if tv's are a standard thing these days then it's maybe a slightly bigger issue than it initially seems. Staff really should be trained in how to set them up. To explain how to set it up is nothing more than a 10 minute job. If you use 'One For All' remotes and buy 6 tv's, all the same make and model then it will be easy
