Comfortable living, well-equipped, quiet surroundings, and reasonably priced. Satisfied in every aspect.

It has a very homey feel. The entryway is spacious, making it very convenient to unpack and organize luggage. 👍 The indoor heating and air conditioning systems are excellent. The shower and laundry/drying areas are well-designed. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Minowa subway station. There are 7-Elevens, supermarkets, and small shops along the way. I can buy some Wagyu beef and ramen when I come back in the evening, making it perfect for late-night snacks and breakfast.

We rented this place for a two-night, three-day stay with four friends for a computer-based work retreat. ■Location It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the station. There's a 7-Eleven a few minutes' walk away. It's located in a quiet residential area. It seems like it would be a nuisance to the neighbors if you make noise at night (there was actually a notice stating that there would be a fine if complaints were received). There are delicious sushi and tempura restaurants nearby, so I felt that finding food wouldn't be a problem. ■Entrance It's a sliding door, but it's quite stiff, so be careful. I panicked when the door wouldn't open even after unlocking it! It opens if you pull it firmly to the left. The interior is an earthen floor, and the living room, kitchen, toilet, and bathroom/washroom are all on raised platforms. Two or three pairs of geta (wooden clogs) and disposable slippers (I didn't use them, so it might have been something else) were provided as amenities at the entrance. There's also a vacuum cleaner, so you can vacuum whenever you want. ■Kitchen The refrigerator is quite large, and they even made ice. There was a kettle, oven, and microwave, and I think there was also a rice cooker. A full set of cooking utensils, including pots and pans, was provided, along with chopsticks, forks, plates, cups, detergent, and dishcloths. I noticed a tray on top of the refrigerator on my way out. It was a spacious kitchen. ■Living Room The tatami room on the first floor had a table with a sunken hearth (more than large enough for four people to work on), making it very suitable for work. It would probably become a kotatsu (heated table) in winter. There was also a TV. And of course, air conditioning. There were about 3-4 electrical outlets, which was very helpful for working. ■Courtyard (1F) There was a courtyard space with an open atrium, about half a tatami mat in size, which was very elegant and lovely. ■Bathroom (1F) I love large baths, so I went to a nearby bathhouse. It had a cypress wood bath, and my friend who used it said it was very good. It seems that shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc., were all provided. It seems you can see the courtyard from here. Incidentally, there are many public bathhouses in the area, and I went to a different one each of the two days. One of them was so hot that it gave me the impression that Edo-era Japan was amazing... ■Washroom (1F) There was more than one bath towel and one regular towel per person. There was a Sharp washer-dryer, and they also provided laundry gel balls, which was a great help as I could do a lot of laundry! There was a clothesline, hangers, and clothespins in the washroom, so I could hang my clothes up and they dried in about a day even when air-dried indoors. Incidentally, it seemed like there was a dryer in the bathroom, but there was no place to hang laundry, so I couldn't use it. I was grateful that they provided toothbrushes and a hairdryer as amenities. ■Toilets (1F, 2F) Having two toilets was a great help! They were clean flush toilets. ■Bedroom (2F) There was one bedroom with two beds and a sofa. There were three futons in the tatami room. Both rooms were equipped with air conditioning and were very comfortable. Incidentally, all the air conditioners were set to 16 degrees Celsius for cooling, so I think they probably checked to make sure the air conditioning was working. I was very impressed! ■Workspace (2F) There was a room about 4 tatami mats in size with a desk, chair, and lamp. I thought it would be perfect for working in isolation, but there was no air conditioning, so it would be difficult to stay there during hot or cold seasons. It seems like a good place to work in spring and autumn. Incidentally, when I was leaving, it seemed that the check-out time listed on the booking site was different from the time the management had anticipated, so the cleaning staff came a little early. When I explained this, they kindly said, "It's okay, please relax until your scheduled time." Thank you very much for that. The price was reasonable, and everything about this place was excellent, so I would like to use it again.
