Great location. Clean (very clean) and comfortable apartments with everything you need. Cons: soundproofing from the city center is weak, all sounds are heard quite well. In terms of price per room ratio - a super option. I will book next time, and I recommend it to everyone.

The room we were assigned literally looked at the elevated train line - and we could hear loud rumbling, screeching subways all night long. No amount of white noise machine will hide how loud these trains were. When I tried to contact someone about a room change, I was told there no other units available. This was not advertised/noted as a possible trait when booking or I wouldn’t have picked it. We slept terrible the entire trip.

It was a large space with a generous kitchen, washer dryer and big closet. Kitchen was basic, no condiments or paper towels. The living space was nice, and happy there was a dining table and 2 chairs. The bed was fairly stiff and shower was just ok. No central AC but a window unit, so it was loud and ran nonstop in the heat. Well appointed, industrial/modern but loud.

The room it self is lovely, huge space, high ceilings, cooking and washing facilities, very clean. The issue was getting into the room. 20 calls, multiple messages on the app, it took over an hour to get into the room. I almost gave up and went to another hotel.

I made multiple complaints to customer service through the “chat” that how you communicate with them. Wi-fi did not work, broken ice maker, broken vent in the bathroom, no TV in the bedroom. The air conditioning is a standing portable unit that extremely loud.

Please don’t bother with this place honestly it’s a hassle from the main entrance to the elevator to opening the unit door. The codes I had weren’t working so we didn’t even end up staying here and they still refuse to process the refund smh

I loved this hotel. I am becoming a huge fan of the Sonder brand. It is the first type of hotel I look for when planning a trip.

Close to the train but the property provided sound machines and ear plugs if needed. Personally did not have an issue but others may. Great location in regards to local attractions and very descriptive and accurate instructions for contactless check-in.

It's a great place near millennium Park. But also a great place to get a buy a transit card and explore all Chicago as the L train is right outside your front door. I loved the charm of the city and it's noises right outside my big floor to ceiling windows. There is a wonderful breakfast/lunch spot right next door. Goddess and the baker and Mexican spot right down the street to enjoy.

Stayed in 2 bed apartment. There was a ventilation pipe that came through the window in the living room area which let noise in so woken by noise from bin lorries several times a night. Wall of rooms didn’t reach ceiling so bedrooms were open to living area. Nice neighborhood with restaurants nearby and felt save walking in evening.

This was a good property because it was located in a good area in the city / downtown Chicago. We were walkable to lots of attractions! The bean was 6 mins walking distance ! It was clean and easy to navigate as far as getting into the property. The amenities were simple/basic. I loved the fact that we were able to store our luggage prior to check in! That was a game changer ! Keep in mind , Depending on where your room is located it could be loud due to the train that runs. Overall I would stay again due to the location, cleanliness and simple amenities like a washer dryer in unit.

This is a great place to stay in Chicago - right in the Loop, 2 blocks from Millennium Park. Everything is close by, Transit train and bus both right on the corner. Inside, the elevator is what you'd expect in an older building, but the room itself was great, everything needed for a week long stay

I love how secure the building is. It was clean and cozy; love that it was apartment like and fully equipped. In a good walkable area. Found a close by parking lot (Adams & Wabash self park) - it’s a 3 minute walk. Plenty food and coffee shop options.

Where do I start? From the noise from the trains ALL DAY AND NIGHT!! The stench from the cigar lounge on the second floor throughout the whole building and the black mold in the shower, not to mention we believe the building was haunted as the fan and light in the bedroom area kept going on and off by itself, creepy and terrible all together. STAY AWAY from this place.

Stayed here before the start of our Route 66 trip. No reception and was sent check in instructions which were clear. Had 1 apartment and 1 studio. Close to everything and felt really safe.

We had a wonderful stay. It was such a convenient location and perfect for our needs. The noise of the El did not bother us at night, as it is fairly consistent and sounded like the wind. Perfect home base. The cigar shop smell is REALLY strong, but once we exited the elevator we did not smell it on the third floor.

The property itself is great, and had a great view of the city. No complaints there. It should be noted that the train is very close and will be loud as it passes by, not an huge issue for us, and the property did include earplugs and white noise machines. One quirk we encountered was the fan in the bed room would randomly turn to full speed and the light would turn on in the middle of the night, this did wake us up when it would happen, and we couldn't trace as to why this was happening. Overall great property, and the next time we are in town, we will most likely book this property again.
