We stayed just the one night as we flew in from Bora Bora to catch a plane to San Francisco the next morning. Nice place, clean.

Great location close to bars, restaurants and very close to the port and airport. The Roof top bar is great only disappointing thing was we were a couple and couldn’t eat there unless there are 8 or more people which it didn’t explain when trying to book online. We did eat at the Reef restaurant on floor 7 which was good and staff very attentive. It was handy having a coffee bar and food next to reception too. I would definitely stay again.

We would highly recommend this hotel. First off, it is extremely convenient to the port for trips to Moorea. We could also walk to the Papeete Market and a large choice of shops and restaurants. Our room was huge. We had a very firm bed with wonderful pillows. A small balcony allowed us to sit outside and the kitchenette had refrig, stovetop, coffee maker and utensils. The large bathroom had a rainfall showerhead and many nice amenities. Our only issue was our television didn't work. When the front desk sent someone up to check and couldn't repair they offered us a new room. Since we declined changing, instead they have us free breakfast the next morning. Great customer service.

Not many food options around hotel. Restaurants in the hotel were slow and took forever to get service and then took forever to get food.

This was our 3rd stay here in 5 weeks between inter-island cruises. 1st stay we had a wonderful room facing the harbour on 8th floor. No comlaints! 2nd stay we had a room at the rear on the 3rd floor, facing the mountains, still good another part of the hotel blocked our vie. The last stay we were again in the back on the second floor, no view and above the nightclub next door. The music (loud with 'doof doof' base went on till after 4:00am All rooms themselves were wonderful however

The rooftop bar should be avoided. Service problem blamed on language. I requested some parmesan for the pizza, and got a $10.00 charge slipped onto the bill. When I asked about it, the waitress blamed the charge on the cook, and so I asked the outside cook who quickly blamed it on the waitress. Downstairs restaurant, good experience.

This hotel was great, new clean rooms. We booked a Tahitian Home Double room on the 5th floor. This was spacious and well thought out. Great location to the port and centre of Papeete i.e the markets only a short walk. We did stay a Thursday and Friday night, and could slightly hear the bass from the club nearby.

Property was really clean and new with fabulous rooms. Cold A/C. Very convenient location right across from the ferry terminal. Walk right across the street for the ferry! We walked to the market about 10 min away. Taxi from the airport was about $25 and 15 min. The hotel has an adults rooftop bar that was popping but our kids wanted dinner and kids weren’t allowed, so we got pizza to go and ate in our lovely room. Will definitely stay here again before heading to Moorea on the ferry. Very clean and convenient, great cafe downstairs.

This is a very basic hotel. Area surrounding it is very run down. It's convenient to the cruise terminal ( you can walk across the street to it) and that's the only positive reason to stay there. They give you breakfast which is ok. Not the greatest.

Kon Tiki is a terrific hotel. Great coffee bar restaurant, Reef bar and Surf Restaurant. The rooms are spacious and were very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and check in was quick. The hotel is withinwalking distance to Papeete Market,, all of downtown shopping and restaurants. It is located across the street from the ferry terminal. On Friday and Saturday nights it can get loud on the street level as there are disco clubs next door. Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. I would absolutely stay at tbe KonTiki in the future.

Lovely room and very convenient for getting on the ferry. The elevator was a bit of an issue because the place is so popular that it takes a long time in line to get to your room.
