Very nice. Super clean with great host mr João. It’s affordable, great breakfast the staffs are super attentive, friendly and very helpful. I felt so welcomed and throughly enjoy my stay, I highly recommend casa do plátano.

Our stay was wonderful although short, would have loved to stay longer. Looks like a place to relax for a nice stretch of time. Staff were very friendly and hotel was very comfortable with lots a little added amenities.

This hotel is in Arriaolos which has it's own interesting history. This is a lovely, welcoming hotel that has an wonderful ambience, and is very peaceful and relaxing, with scented candles and muted lighting to support this. Beautiful homemade breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only a short drive to the Evora to visit the walled city but far enough away from the tourists.

Considering the cost of the other hotels and B and B's we stayed at over three weeks in Portugal we thought this was a little high for this little village accomadation. The noise in the early morning from deliveries was very loud. We also had heavy suitcases we had to carry up three flights of stairs with no help. Our reservation said courtyard room....

We booked in Arraiolos because after spending a week in Lisbon, we wanted something quieter than Evora. It was a great place to unwind and slow down. Be sure to walk around and explore the neighborhood.

We loved our stay here. Lovely staff, inviting patio, delicious breakfast, open and clean rooms. A nice break from the bigger cities in Portugal.

Great location for exploring the countryside and Evora!

I came to Arraiolos on vacation and stayed for a week at the Casa do Platano. This was, bar none, my favorite place to stay of my entire trip. The staff were incredible - they learned my preferences and anticipated my every need. I spent one day there feeling ill and they offered to go out and get me food or medicine or anything I needed. They scrubbed the hotel top to bottom every day - one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. It was surprisingly quiet, as well. A great, relaxing place to use as home base as I explored the old world charm of the Alentejo region.

This place was so good - and the town of Arraiolos so pleasant - that we stayed an extra night.

The standard of friendliness and service offered cannot be bettered.Everything exceeded expectations.The owners and staff go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasantly memorable stay.This is an oasis of calm in a frantic world.
