It's definitely worth it for a short stay at an affordable price. The room is comfortable, the AC is cool, the Wi-Fi is good for browsing social media, and the TV works (it's a smart TV). The room's cleanliness is adequate, though I did find a dead cockroach under the mattress, but it's safe and can be cleaned up by yourself. It's great.

The guest house staff is very friendly and helpful, the downside is the bathroom door has no lock, the hot water tap sometimes doesn't work, and some of the bathroom tiles are cracked. Other than that everything is comfortable, from the room, the kitchen is all clean.

I booked in haste so I didn't focus on the outside bathroom. For those on guard, ask for help, yes, there are plenty of bathrooms. If there are guests, put their dirty clothes in a bucket in front of the guest bathroom door.

Good things first: the location is good. It's just a 10 minute walk from the Surabaya zoo and from the nearest bus stop. It's right next to a minimarket, close to hospitals and not too far from the city center. It has a kitchen that ' s available for everyone. Quite clean room. Note that this place doesn't really provide regular room type like "twin bed", but more of various bed types. My room consists of one bunk bed, even though I clicked on a twin bed type on the app. Also the staff are not always available. Lucky for me, when I checked in, there was someone around. But if not, you can text the number they provided. As a very affordable lodging in a good location like this, of course they have to reduce lots of things. They don't provide complimentary water bottles, no towels, no toiletries and there ' s only a shared toilet. What ' s bothering me so much is that my room is very humid. If I stayed more than two nights, I believe all my clothes will get muggy. So at night it ' s just too cold because of the damp temperature, but at noon it ' s just too hot because the air conditioning isn't working. I didn't try to turn on the TV, because the wires are hanging weirdly.
