The hotel is an amazing oasis of tranquility in the heart of Porto. A small quiet 5star boutique style hotel. A fantastic stay except breakfast was underwhelming and staff not at all attentive which was a bit disappointing considering everything else was superb. Trays weren't cleaned off yet staff standing around. No explanation hot freshly cooked options were available. My sister who is celiac was treated like a leper... I did push for a cooked breakfast and was met with a very accomplished eggs Benedict. My sister had an incredible omelette and mom had poached eggs. No refill of coffee offered and while food was lovely staff walked around like zombies. Sorry guys, you work in hospitality and there are plenty of staff!

The hotel was nice. But certainly do not understand the "exceptional" rating. The bar had no beer and the pool was no bigger than a paddling pool. Rooms were pretty but not spacious.

Hotel is perfectly situated to benefit from local attractions with a metro station close by. Hotel was very quiet and all air conditioned so nice and cool of a day and evening. Staff are excellent and cater for your needs, special mention to Laianna the chef who catered specially for all my allergens. The hotel is exquisite, rooms are very good and all soundproofed. A brilliant place so thankyou.

Joanna was the first person we met and was great in helping me set up a Portuguese phone number so I could access Uber. Hot and cold buffet breakfast was delicious. Some great restaurants only a few feet away from the Editory boulevard hotel. We will stay here again.

A lovely Porto hotel in the centre of everything, yet still comfortable and quiet.

This boutique hotel was quite the find. Smartly appointed and well maintained; the location was right on the main plaza downtown. A couple of things stood out. The front desk staff were fantastic; professional, courteous, very helpful. The restaurant was an unexpected joy as the chef (Leoni?) put together a superb meal for us and stopped by to chat and talk about the food. Our server (I've forgotten her name but she's a young lady with an eipc fro) was fantastic as well. Also, I'd be remiss in not mentioning the breakfast manager who ran the morning's meals; she was the bomb. She was like a conductor of a symphonic orchestra directing staff to cater to the needs of their customers all the while she pitched in with a wink and a smile making sure everyone was prepared to hit the streets for their day's activities. Highly recommend.

Good location, friendly staff.

Absolutely the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Porto. It was clean and beautifully designed. Pedro welcomed us with so much care and patience, elevating the whole experience. He even provided us a departure gift! We will definitely coming back to stay at this hotel when we come back to Porto in the future.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and had a really great stay again. The service at check in was great - I had an early flight and they dealt with the formalities of check in when I arrived and held on to my luggage until my room was ready. When I came back to collect my room key, they said they had taken my case up which was a nice touch. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious and clean. They left some little snacks out on arrival as well as a bottle of port which was nice. The rainfall shower was really lovely and a nice spacious shower. Location wise this is great - doesn’t take long to get to the river but also close to Sao Bento and Trinidad’s stations. There is 24/7 reception staff which helped me to feel safe especially as a solo female traveller. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Wonderful staff who really made the stay memorable from my arrival at the hotel door. Nice (upgraded) room, terrific breakfast and universally charming staff a pleasure. The only tiny negative I can give is there were no towels by the swimming pool, otherwise it was all excellent, I’d definitely recommend
