The Northwinds Hotel exceeded my expectations based on the price. We had a nice spacious family room with a huge balcony overlooking the front of the property with mountain views, which were stunning. The room was in great condition and looked recently renovated and was modern and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom large with a double shower. Cleaning was on request rather than daily but was very good. The onsite restaurant does good breakfast but lacks a bit of character. The hotel is towards the edge of town but still walkable (15mins) in to the centre for shops, bars and restaurants etc. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

The property was good for what we needed but no hot tub and I could tell the carpet in the room had not been vacuumed. Other than that, what staff we spoke to were friendly and the location is good. The hotel restaurant’s breakfast was amazing.

Cozy and quiet room. It was unfortunate that the TV was not viewable from the bed. Otherwise room was nice.

I have a bad knee and we were to go to second floor. However, they didn’t have an elevator and when I explained they changed us to 1st floor immediately. Great staff. Great room. Great amenities. Bed was comfortable. Bathtub was great.

Clean and simple. Just needed a place to sleep at night. It’s all we needed and the price worked for us

Fantastic place to stay with pets, ours loved that they could go out of the door on their leads. The staff are very friendly and helpful, loads of food options just across the road. Property was easy to find and very clean.
