Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in Canmore.

We stayed in Canmore for one night during our trip to Alberta in March. The hotel rooms were renovated a couple of years ago, and they still feel fresh and well maintained. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant. Considering the price, the room offered excellent value. We requested a quiet room, and the staff accommodated our request. As a result, we had a very peaceful night and slept well after a long day of travel. Overall, it was a comfortable and affordable place to stay for a stopover in Canmore, and we would consider staying here again on a future visit.

Northwinds totally met my expectations, keeping in mind that I paid a fair price for a budget hotel. Room was clean and newly renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely our rooms were. We booked the adjoining rooms option with a king suite and a standard room, as I was traveling with two teens and wanted to give the privacy. My king suite was gorgeous- fireplace, smart tv, mini coffee bar, modern bright bathroom, and even sliding patio doors that led right outside (which I would have used if it was warmer). I wished we were staying longer! The standard double queen room attached to mine was also great, but with less amenities. The girls were happy to have comfy beds with high end bedding, and a lovely bathroom. We would 100% book this exact option again the next time we pass through.

Great service, nice people, but alot of noise at night. People were trying to get in our room, running and screaming at 10hpm

The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like there were hair on the floor. But overall clean.

Room were clean and quiet

Clean room and simple check in via email. Room had a mini fridge and mini microwave in room along with a coffee machine.

Very Clean, Great Location and Affordable!

Property was very clean, updated, and convenient.

Great stay. Central location, the best part being it's dog friendly. Many hotels in Canmore are removing their dog friendly status so this was the biggest bonus and they have a little dog run behind the hotel so you can just step outside your suite to take your pooch out. Also, great big soaker tub with tons of hot water! Always a big bonus. The room was large and I was able to check in early which after a full day of being outside was a blessing. Great price for a great room.
