Beautiful apartment in a perfect location! The place was clean, filled with sunshine, and perfect for my family of 4.

Being our first time to vaca in Europe, we were taken aback by a few things: hotel difficult to find due to being tucked in big building, no elevator (luggage got heavy after 1st flight of stairs), and the room was much smaller than the website image led me to believe. Now with that being said, the staff was kind, helpful and very patient with our lack of knowledge. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a restaurant under the hotel, which was a concern for noise, but we never heard anything from the establishment. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

Great location!!

This was a great stop over to see Barcelona from. We walked around and used a few taxis. There’s a one park car park which is cheaper if you book in advance, the car was opened some how but i had packed it so well in very tight parking spaces (& we had all our important stuff with us) that they only managed to get at 1 bag & only took a couple of minor items, but park with care, leave your car safe. The sunrises off the beach, about a 10 minute walk away. The large family room was perfect for us and our two teenagers. We’d definitely stay again. The terrible rating for eco friendly is mainly due to room service coming in when we were out, new sheets and new towels after just the first night. It was a very nice little surprise but not eco friendly.

No elevator which makes it very difficult with suitcases. No coffee in the room and not available at all until 10:00 am. Loud at night. The worst part - opened the door in the morning and there was a cockroach outside the room door. And another huge one later in the morning in the lobby.

Great location, walkable to beaches, harbor, old town, shopping restaurants. Note: Not much open before 10 am.

We had a great 3 night stay at Som nit port Vell, rooms cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels. Great location also. Everything in walking distance. Highly recommend for city break weekenders 10/10

Great hotel for the price and the people working there were very helpful. They got us in much early than agreed and I appreciate that. We had traveled across from the US and were exhausted but the nice hostess let us in within 30 minutes at 11am. Thanks a ton.

The stay was excellent, room was great and even on the 1st floor the noise was non existent. Great access to the port, the aquarium and the zoo. Really comfortable and clean room with very helpful staff.

Great staff. Great location. Generous size room. But very pricey, however seems to be going rate in this area.

Good hotel in great location near the water/beach front. Do be aware that after 2000, check in is done at a different hotel so near that in mind if you are alone with a lot of luggage. Just to note too, there is no lift within the building. Our room had a Juliette balcony, and was near a late running bar/club. We could hear the music from the establishment up until around 2am through the double panes glass. It was noticeable but not horrible. The refrigerator, while convenient to have, wasn't the coldest. Or really cold for that matter.

This was a very nice place and centrally located to the beach and a short walk to the Gothic area. Lots of great food and drinks close by. There were 4 of us and it was a little on the small size, but to be honest, it was not an issue; we were out and about most of the time. The place was very clean and updated. We would return.

This hotel is amazing! Technically not a hotel b/c there is no food or night staff, but it was perfect! The location was amazing! We walked to Old Town, the Gothic Quarter, shopping, meals and night clubs. Very safe. Any nearby hotel would have been double or triple the price. My husband and I stayed with our 22yr daughter & 18yr son in the family suite. It was clean, spacious and we overlooked the harbor. The staff was top notch. Very communicative and accommodating. Som Nit Port Vell is one of Barcelona's best kept secrets. PS Can Paixano is a 1 minute walk for a 3€ sandwich and 6€ bottle of champagne. So fun!

If I recall correctly, Anna was the name of the woman who checked us in. She was friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. No elevator so we had to carry bags up a flight with Anna's assistance.
