The problems: First, there is no table or chair in the room. This might be the first time. There is a metal barred bench I guess to put your suitcase on because there's no other apparent use for it. It's very dark. With all the lights on I could barely see, not to mention read. There is a giant concrete structure blocking the balcony and taking up a ton of space making a chunk of the room completely useless. The bathroom very functional, but the water smelling rancid. This is not just a toilet thing, when you turned on the sink faucet or the shower, it also smelled a little bit like sewer water. This needs to be fixed. One positive was that the bed was very comfortable.
Because I like to swim, I chose this hotel because of the rooftop pool. It was only about 3 feet deep. I could just barely swim, with my hands scraping the bottom of the pool. The water level also looked low, as the return spouts were at water level. like it could use about 6-10 inches of water, and make it more useful for actual swimming. It was also dirty with leaves and a sort of dark color. I think there is definitely a water problem for the entire hotel. They need to invest in a purification system for the building. I notified the front desk and they had someone apparently check it and they said it was not dirty and that the water level was normal (???).
The lobby restroom seat didn't fit, the faucet was broken, and it was a mess. Horrible impression for guests. Who manages this property???
