They just showed you pictures of the nice part of the property, But they assign rooms on the back buiding where a Milk Company call Lala has their employees and it is pretty uncomftable when you arrive at night and the employees are sitting at the stair or sidewalks talking or smoking. The towels are old and worned out, the shower's grout looks moldy, also the shower window sill very DUSTY and with spider web.. Last and not least you have to cross the whole property all the way to reception to drop back the AC and TV remote controls, you are not allowed to leave them in the room at time of checking out !, then you have to cross again the property all the way back to the parking lot

Please do not believe the negative reviews. We stayed here for 1 night to see if we would extend it or leave the next day and make our way to San Carlos. From the first interaction we had with front desk. Young lad was very welcoming and since it was somewhat too early to check in, we were hoping to drop our bags and venture out. He was kind to accommodate us, he called the bell hop who also went above and beyond. Went to our room, then the AC, TV and tried the lights. He let us know as he was leaving the room, if anything is needed please pick up handset and dial 0. We were so surprised how big the bed is. I guess here they refer it to superior which it was a massive bed. Didn’t have to worry about falling off or getting kicked in the middle of the night. 1st night was quiet and woke up refreshed. Made our way downstairs to retrieve our breakfast vouchers. Met with wonderful gal who verified our room and made our way to Oeste. Now they have Oeste and El Jardín but only Oeste is included. Waiter was very welcoming. They offered scrambled eggs, beans, chilaquiles. Yogurt fruit and granola. Now for the people who say it needs work, too old, key cards smells etc. Then I would strongly suggest booking in San Carlos or Holiday Inn. You can have luxury on a budget. Highly recommend and kudos to staff for making our stay amazing

Las habitaciones están aparentemente limpias. Pero no en realidad. Por ejemplo: las almohadas están amarillentas y con moho, al igual que el colchón. El AC es demasiado viejo y hace un ruido que no te deja dormir. Salen cucarachas de la tina del baño y también puedes verlas por los pasillos. El planchador está oxidado y en mal estado. Y la supervisora de la recepción muy enojada, pues nos querían dar una habitación que está en la parte trasera del edificio, que está dividida del edificio principal por el estacionamiento del hotel, donde las habitaciones están peor que en el edificio principal.

Instalaciones muy viejas!

Upon check in I was given room 117, the room did NOT have a door Lock just a sliding chain door guard. The neighboring hotel had LOUD guests and music blasting with dunk men talking extremely loud throughout the night. I requested a room change and was informed that there was no more rooms available. EXTREMELY disappointed with tis stay. The following morning I requested a clothing Iron which took 45 minutes for me to receive, mind you I asked to go to the front lobby to pick it up and was denied that option. I do not recommend this place.

The hotel is old and in bad maintained condition, the missing small pieces of ceramic in the pool makes my swimsuit broke, the food at the restaurant is average. You need to leave your ID in exchange for pool towels?? The staff at the front desk is not very friendly.

Hotel was very clean. Lots of friendly staff. Room was very clean with good amenities. Buffett breakfast was was hot and plentiful. Seems to be a location involved in the community as there were several groups celebrating something. Volleyball and youth baseball teams were enjoying the pool. The steakhouse was delicious! Looking forward to coming back in the late fall.

Room was disgusting cockroaches even dead was visible especially in the bathroom and outside the bathroom. Water on the floor. No amenities such as fridge , microwave, ice bucket. The only good part was the restaurant and the morning breakfast

Expedia said free breakfast, hotel denied breakfast, extra charge for dog and extra person even that I book executive rate $20 dollars extra. At the end paid $115 for a night not worth it for a regular hotel on q Monday

Lots of deferred maintenance in this old property. Bed was ok, but even sheets were old. The “free” breakfast was simple with little taste— the same every morning and separated from elegant brunch for the public. Very strange arrangement.

I loved staying at Armida Hotel. Recently I have noticed how the upkeeping of the rooms is declining. For the first time, I upgraded my room to a King room. The rooms in that area are outdated, toilet seats stained, noisy a/c unit, remote control not compatible with Tv, smell of cigarette and to top all the inconveniences, the bed was hard and VERY uncomfortable. I am sorry to give such a poor review. I chose Armida over many other hotels nearby and I have regretted it since I walked into my room. The only thing that I enjoyed was the delicious restaurant food and their service.
