We had a truly memorable stay at B&B Plitvis Hills, located just a short walk from Entrance 3 of the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. This peaceful, well-maintained guesthouse is the perfect base for exploring the lakes—especially if you’re looking to avoid the crowds and soak in the natural beauty at your own pace. Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, with lovely touches and great views of the surrounding hills and forest. The property is tucked away enough to feel remote and tranquil, yet still perfectly positioned for easy access to the park. What really made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality. Ivan is an exceptional host. Ivan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—at one point even filleting a freshly cooked fish at our table with the utmost care. Jasmine gave us a fantastic route through the lakes that helped us completely avoid the main traffic and allowed us to take hundreds of uninterrupted photos of the most scenic spots. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and the peaceful setting made each morning feel like a retreat. The only small downside was dinner. While the food was well prepared, the dinner menu wasn’t clearly explained, and with limited nearby dining options, it did feel a bit overpriced—€28 for a simple grilled chicken dish seemed excessive. A little more clarity and flexibility around the evening meals would really enhance the experience. Everything else about this B&B was outstanding!

Incredible location and beautiful spacious room. It's not a cottage at all but a lovely modern room with an huge bathroom in an old home so close to the park. We could enter the park at 6:00 am and walk around without the crowds. The staff Ivan and Jasmine were wonderful and so helpful with park information too. 15 min and you are in the park. Nice restaurant for dinner too!

The property is very quaint with unexpected, elegant touches. The property is taken care of with pride. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a lovely place to stay in Plitvice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Just a few minute walk to the Falls. The area around it is beautiful for nightly walks. The breakfast was wonderful however I would advise eating dinner in a town nearby.

We had the absolute best stay! The service was above and beyond, so friendly and helpful. Ozi was sweet and funny, and the manager gave us fabulous tips for the park. Breakfast was amazing with tons of options, including gluten free. Dinner had several flexible options and both dinners we had were fantastic. The rooms were immaculate, bathroom spacious, and the beds firm and comfortable (amazing pillows!) We highly recommend this adorable, accommodating, well-appointed B&B. Side note: it’s a bit off the beaten path in a good way; you will feel like you’re driving into a farm/residential area, but don’t be scared. It’s totally worth it. Keep going! There will be a sign at property entrance. Google directions are trustworthy, even when you think they’re not 😁And a very relaxing atmosphere after a day full of crowds, crowds, crowds at the park. Charming in every way. Luxury in a cabin! Jasmine was friendly & professional. Exceptional food. Know that you may charge the room however; cash only in the fabulous restaurant! I would visit again.

Our stay was truly exceptional!

Beautiful small hotel on the quiet side of the National Park. The staff are lovely and welcoming and want to ensure that you enjoy all that the park has to offer. Rooms are large, clean and inviting.

The room was nice and new. There were only a few outlets so we took turns charging our phones, and we were not given the wifi password and couldn’t access the tv or our phones. Luckily we both like to read. Other than that the location was good, the grounds were nice and the food was good too. We also got great directions to do the park which helped us a lot.

Delightful place, lovely breakfast , and dinner also available. Outstanding staff who are knowledgeable about trails and area attractions. Lovey garden as well. Walkable to park entrance.

We really enjoyed our time at Plitvice Falls cottage. It is in the perfect location to access the waterfalls! The workers were very courteous and recommended a local restaurant to us that was delicious! The room was very comfortable as well. Highly recommend!
