I stayed at the Santika Hotel which was booked through Traveloka, I booked a non-smoking room However, my room was on the 6th floor which is a smoking floor When the room door was opened, it smelled of cigarette smoke..it was very uncomfortable and the later it got the more the smell of smoke became..and that was enough for me to be disappointed.

Great view from the restaurant area and rooms

The hotel is comfortable, close to everywhere. Surrounded by malls in front of the town square. The service is good, friendly, the officers look neat and clean. The security is good, willing to help this morning, July 5th. But the other security guard is a bit young and indifferent, we didn't offer to take our stuff to the room, instead he was busy with his cellphone. It's okay. The others are great. Stayed 10 days, booked 2x

I would definitely return. Hotel is new, clean, and within 5min walking distance to Batam Centre/Batam Mega Mall. Staff is very friendly, and definitely a plus to stay at the top floor (10th) although it's very noisy as restaurant is just above you. Top floor gives the best view because the surrounding/external areas of the hotel is not well kept i.e. dirty with thrash. So if you are at 6th floor and below, you will be disgusted when you open the window. I requested a change from 6th to 10th because of that unsightly view.

The room is very clean, the service is responsive to customer complaints and requests (friendly, beautiful, not arrogant and polite)

Overall was great! Room is very clean, very big size bed. Location wise is also very strategic. Truly recommend and beyond happy staying at this hotel.
