Very nice

We loved the decoration and seclusion of the cabin. Loved them!!

I received a call early in the day of my arrival from Cranberry Inn, telling me that I would be in "Cabin 5," that the door would be open and the key would be on the "kitchen table." I arrived at 8 PM. There was no "cabin." There was a motel-type unit. There was no "kitchen table." Fine. Unit 5 was open. No one else was around. The office was closed. It seemed quiet and secluded, even though it was just off the highway. At 1 AM, someone woke me by violently pulling and pushing on the door, trying to get in!! I yelled, asking what was going on. Someone told me through the door that he had been given unit 5. I assured him that I had written down "Cabin 5" when I had been called to confirm my stay. He insisted he had been told the same thing. After much back and forth, he said that he would just see if there was an unlocked unit and stay there. I certainly could not sleep again for the rest of the night. Terrible management.

Room was ready and clean upon my arrival

Our stay was pure bliss. The mix of cedar and birch out the giant back windows was beautiful. The space was clean and cozy, and a perfect weekend escape.

Beautiful cabin room with every modern feature imaginable. Beautifully decorated, warm, and welcoming with great attention to detail.

Clean and quiet, definitely good choice

Good location for those traveling north to the border or beyond. Close to snowmobile / OV trails. Fairly simple accommodations - enjoyed the knotty pine siding and hardwood floors. Beds were basic - bathroom was clean and workable - quiet area offered a good night's sleep.

This place is an incredible value if you like hanging out in the north woods but feel like you are sleeping in a condo.

Cabins are very clean and cozy. Overall was a great stay!

The Cottages are always amazing. We stay here every time that we visit Mercer and are never disappointed.

AC unit was noisy, low speed didn't work. Also, could not run fan on constant and still get cooling. It cycled on/off all night!

rooms were great. I had to request services as there was no on site employees.

This is a very nice property but the management is not. I did NOT receive information via email on how to check in or what my room # was. When I stopped, the courteous maid called the manager who kept telling me I couldn't check in yet when numerous times I told him that I hadn't received an email and was simply trying to find out how to access my room and which room it was. The next day when I was out walking my dog, instead of saying good morning, I heard, "You do know we have a $25 pet charge", to which I replied yes, and I had left him a voice mail re the same... Finally, I had mentioned to him that their website, and expedia both advertise that the lounge and restaurant are open, with excellent food and service. He said, he'd talk to his IT person... really In fact, they have been closed since January 2023... Not a pleasant discovery as that was one of the things that sold me on the place despite it being a bit more expensive than alternative lodging. When I stopped at the Mercer Chamber, the woman told me she was aware of the problem as well, and did not think it was appropriate to be telling people that the lounge and restaurant were still open.

Stay was amazing
