We had a fabulous stay here at the Griffin, the evening food was delicious, the breakfast was brilliant too. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very nice. Couldn’t fault the staff, very welcoming and friendly

All staff very very friendly. Good location for what we needed. Room fine for price - basic but ok. Bit concerned about brown water coming out of hot tap in morning - but it was clear 30mins later. Delicious breakfast. Handy car park and good bar area.

Our room was very clean and well prepared the staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent Only one negative no bedside light and you could not switch off the main light from the bed.

Very friendly staff, easy check in. The room was plenty big enough and the bathroom just right. all very clean. I dined both in the evening and for breakfast and the food was first class, as was the service. Parking is at the hotel, but I doubt the car park would be big enough if the hotel was full

Staff very welcoming. Room very comfortable. Enjoyed the full Cornish breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and service, extremely friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, a really comfortable bed and a great breakfast to finish off a great stay. Very dog friendly! One of the very best places we’ve stayed and great value too.

Great Hotel, Great Breakfast. Arrived late on Friday and departed early Saturday. Fab breakfast.

All good except the mattress was so lumpy we think it must have been full of nuts and bolts! Courtiers staff, a clean room with all essential amenities, but sadly the mattress gave us the worst 3 nights sleep in living memory.

Great location Friendly staff

Arrived at the hotel, Manager checked us into Room 9, my wife and I went to the room. Opened the door to what can only be described as the worst smell of body odour masked with fabreeze. There was no way we could of stayed there with that smell. We immediately went back to the car and found a Holiday Inn a short distamce away. If there is anytging that can be done to get a refund it woukd be greatly appreciated.
