Love this pub. We visited with our 2 dogs on a holiday to Newquay. Absolutely lovely women who work here who helped us with seating etc. Food came out quickly and was piping hot, very delicious. I thought it was lovely to hear the warm welcommes staff gave to their regulars, very personal touch. We will be sure to visit again. Thank you very much

These guys cannot do enough for you! Room was great.. food excellent 👌 (did so much to cater for me being gluten free). As for our dog, Diesel, you would have thought he was the pub dog! We were given a clean fresh bowl of water every time we entered the bar 🍸🤪...and they made such a fuss of him! 🐕 The icing on the cake had to be the amazing pack lunches they left for us as they knew we were leaving early and would miss breakfast! 🥪 🍎 Well done Griffin and thank you 👏 we will be back next year!

The Griffin Inn offers a pleasant surprise! While the decor might raise an eyebrow initially, the restaurant serves lovely, well-priced food. The friendly bar staff really added to the welcoming atmosphere. A solid choice for a satisfying meal.

My wife and I had visited Newquay to eat at a particular restaurant, unfortunately it was closed, so we had to change our plans. We ventured into the Griffin to have a drink, and decided to eat as the menu looked okay. What a pleasant surprise! Drinks were served by a lovely gentleman behind the bar, who told us we could order our food straight away, and told us about the specials. Food was excellent! We’ve decided we will definitely return in the near future.

Came here as the butchers bistro wouldn’t serve five people despite it being quiet. What a bonus that was - this place looks dated inside but the food was fantastic and the service prompt and friendly. Highly recommend having a meal here.
