Staff were all superb, extremely friendly, fun and polite. Communal areas are beautifully decorated and air conditioned which was a god send in the heat last weekend. Bedroom was well equipped but Room 100 doesn’t have a view (apart from over a roof and air conditioning units ) and the positioning near the air con units made it extremely hot. Would be a help for the bathroom window to be able to open to allow ventilation. There are no lifts at the hotel which needs to be taken into consideration if you have health issues. The grounds of the hotel are very nice with outside seating and there was an outdoor screen for the Wimbledon final which was a nice touch. Good selection on the evening menu but sadly the food wasn’t great. Excellent breakfast and choice. Hotel has ample parking but limited disabled spaces.

Excellent location in the town centre with free parking. Room was very clean and there was even a welcome message from the maid. Quiet room and very comfortable. Large bathroom with walk in shower.

A lovely hotel, plenty of parking, easy check in, very clean well sized room with every you need, super quiet, a very large choice of drinks in the bar and wonderful staff

Second time we’ve stayed, better than the first time if anything and that was 5 stars! Everyone very friendly. We didn’t utilise any of the restaurant facilities.

A proper hotel, well maintained and clean. The staff were professional but friendly. They were approachable, knowledgeable, always willing to help, and did things properly without taking themselves too seriously. The room was a good size, comfortable, and tastefully decorated

We stayed for one night while visiting family. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and well equipped. We appreciated having a mini nespresso machine for our morning coffee. It was a very warm evening but a fan in the room helped to cool it down. The bathroom floor had a slight slope, which could be interesting if you've had a heavy night out. We would happily stay again.

Had a great stay at this great hotel, restaurant and bar areas so welcoming. Staff were brilliant and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel

The only gripe we had was the lavender spray being sprayed in our bedroom my husband had a wheezing problem from it being sprayed by the cleaning person,so a big no to any room spray for us , otherwise a lovely stay, thank you to all the staff they were very polite

Old buildings has it charm

The hotel is a stylishly furnished coaching inn with a comfortable bar and restaurant. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel is in the middle of Oswestry with easy access to the surrounding countryside.

Really lovely hotel, comfortable bed, plenty of parking, tasty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and the cutest little touches like a note to enjoy my stay and a cute little duck in the shower. Would definitely recommend!

Rooms serviced daily. Nice tea and coffee tray in room. Big comfy bed. Room clean and fresh. Wilsons coffee shop a convenient location to meet friends. Friendly helpful staff.

Staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was beautiful and well maintained. We would happily go back.
