Our stay at the Royalton was ok. It couldn’t have been better if the food and activities were better. The staff did what they could. They were very polite and helpful but the resort didn’t have the personal to help them be better. We stayed in Diamond club our room was 10/10 the view was spectacular. The kids had a wonderful time . We were near the pool which we spend most of the day. The restaurants food needed more of taste

The staff are absolutely pleasant but over worked and underpaid. The property grounds are kept clean. Not very accessible as you must use stairs to acces the rooms. Its an older property and the lowest rating compared to Royalton in St Lucia and Antigua. Nome of the A la carte restaurants seved good food. The servive at all these restaurant were slow. The buffet restaurant served great food for breakfast and lunch, but not at dinner time and this consistently the same all week. We mentioned this to the food and beverage manager we caught up with at the cafe on site, and he showed no interest in entertaining the conversation.We got locked out of room earlier than we should have been. Expedia allowed a late check till 1pm as we booked through them, but we could not get back into the room at noon. Our bags were forgoten in the room after asking for bell service to get our bags dropped off at the front desk prior to heading to the airport on the last day of our stay. I won't highly recommend as the stay was average based on the Royalton brand that I expected. Royalton Grenada has lots of work to do to be regarded as more upscale. The luxury rooms had nothing luxury to them. Please improve things so that guests may return. Many other guests we met were complaining about the same things.

We enjoyed our stay at the Royalton Grenada, overall. Highlights: *Service in all areas was exceptional. Particularly the service in the buffet was great at all times. Servers were attentive. *Location - near the airport and a beautiful beach. *We stayed in an ocean front room and access to everything was very easy. It's important to note the facility did not have elevators, so be prepared to use stairs Opportunities: *Our room was not ready at the 3PM check-in time. The front desk was not very helpful regarding this issue. We waited until 4:45 to be able to check into our room. *The food at the buffet was okay - not horrible, not great. We found something we enjoyed at each meal. We went to lunch and dinner each day when it opened (12:30 and 6:00) and most times staff was not prepared for the opening. Food was only half stocked. When the buffet opens, the staff (and food) should have been fully ready for the opening. *The rooms are very, very humid. We have stayed at many beach resorts where this was the case. Just be prepared that everything you pack will have moisture. Overall, we would stay here again. We enjoyed our week on the beach at Royalton Grenada.

Initially had a 3 day stay but missed the first day because of flight issues. I stated I was here for my birthday and was told it would be an additional $30 which was fine. As I am checking in, I was told that my room needed to be refreshed as I was supposed to arrive the day before. Why it needed to be refreshed, I have no clue. I finally received my room and there was no birthday anything. I requested 2 queen beds w an ocean view, I got a king bed and a view of the bushes because my room was on the first floor. I had a baby lizard crawl in my room, along w other little bugs. I didn’t have an iron in my room nor any alcoholic beverages in my fridge. Call down for a steamer or iron and received it the next day. I went outside wrinkled. Food was decent, entertainment ends early

The food was were bland in every restaurant & not too many options for children. Our requests for towels took 24+ hours. 4 people used 2 towels in our room. House keeping took all of our dirty towels but didn’t have any new ones to replace them. 1 nigh I ordered room service on the app, they never delivered. I later found out, they didn’t have employees to fulfill the orders. 2nd time I ordered room service, they took 2 hours—so my children went to sleep without eating twice. Why is that even an option if it can’t be fulfilled promptly. Our shower had mold and we asked for it to be cleaned and it was never done. I will never return to this resort. It was not a pleasant experience.

We booked an ocean view room but at check in we were told that it is not really an ocean view. We were very disappointed ☹️. They told us that we were upgraded to a better room, still no ocean view. I booked the hotel because it clearly stated “luxury ocean view” Misleading…..

This place is not worth the price…and we got it at $1100 instead of the normal $1800 a person all Inclusive. The staff is not friendly only a few people The food was horrible most of the time very cold food was served The room has bugs and not like the smalls flies it had Beatles and worms and millipede it was awful Their froze drinks were good but they do not have straws so you have to let it melt but then it ruins the taste of the drink The pools are nicely sized Their swim up bad was a complete joke because you still have to come out and order your drinks Location is good everything less then 20 mins away and the taxi are fair prices. The restaurants around outside the resort are good umbrella and 61 west was really good

Property was located near the airport which was excellent. Front desk staff were nice and as an expedia client we had perks at the hotel, the surroundings were presentable and well maintained. On many occasions food items were out of stock that was advertised on menus. Food service personnel made us feel like we were begging for service no eye contact/no care. I could go on about the negatives but we tried to make the best out of it. Will not be returning anytime soon.

The service was slow—no amount of tipping would speed it up. There was no service at the beach. Although the pool bar was available from the pool area, there was no actual service provided there; you had to get outside the pool and walk all the way around to place an order. The drinks menu listed only seven items, and the staff didn’t even know their names. The food was awful. I don’t give this review a zero because rooms were clean and there was lemon pastry on the coffee shop that was the only thing I enjoyed in the whole week.

Our stay at Royalton was fantastic. Food was good and there were plenty of options at the buffet. The restaurants were good as well but we preferred the variety at the buffet. There were lots of stairs everywhere so it might be difficult for persons with mobility issues get around. The facilities were clean and secure. I highly recommend.
