Lovely old hotel, in a great area of Rye, at the end of a beautiful cobbled street. Staff were lovely and helpful, room was individual and very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for better.

The Hotel is tucked away, but what a great location, with great views. Upon arrival, friendly and welcoming staff to check you in. If you are driving, there is no parking, so you will have to park in a car park near by. There is one at the bottom of the hill, about a five minute walk which we used. The room we stayed in, a large bath with a separate shower and toilet. Very clean and tidy. The bed, comfortable with fluffy pillows. Slept very well. Breakfast, good choices. A good selection of pubs, restaurants and places of interest near by. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was very nice . Incredibly hot though but its not like that all time weather wise just didnt have air-conditioner but its not a big deal. Staff at bar and reception were fine. Breakfast was great plenty of vegetarian options. I would stay there again.

Hotel is very jaded and in need of significant refurbishment but that said, it was clean and comfortable. Staff were brilliant and the breakfast, cooked to order was excellent. It’s a very short walk to the centre of Rye and its position gives a great view of the Channel estuary. Good value for money reflected the overall need for modernisation.

We had a small room but very nice had everything we needed. I would point out that there’s some bad damp on the bathroom that needs attending to..

Great location, on top of hill. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Room decor could benefit from a refresh, re-hang curtains as some hooks missing. Wine at bar very pricey.

Everything was great, room was really clean and much bigger than I was expecting, staff were courteous and helpful, good breakfast, overall nothing bad to say, all positive. I would distay here again.
