My wife and I had a lovely stay here for two nights. It's a quiet little home with some shared accommodations in the main house, and a couple of private cabins out back. I did accidentally book a room with two twin beds separated from each other - so be careful not to do that if you're a couple. Otherwise, everything was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hosts were lovely and turned on the hot tub when they realized we were interested in it. They also provide a lot of information about the local surrounding and the town, which was very helpful. We followed several of their recommendations. If you are located in the main house, the cooking facilities are minimal, so don't expect too much there. The shared bathroom was very cozy and well stocked, however for such a large space it had a suprisingly tiny shower - not quite sure why. Either way, everything was in good order and comfortable! It was one of the more expensive places we stayed in Iceland, and I'm not sure it was entirely justified in that. But I'd say it's still highly worth considering if you're passing through town. Once you're there, you can easily walk to everything of importance.

I stayed at The Herring House in Siglufjörður and had a wonderful experience. It is a beautiful and cozy guesthouse in Siglufjörður, with a warm atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and a lovely local feeling. The location is perfect for exploring the town, the mountains, the harbor, and the beautiful surroundings of North Iceland. A great place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in Siglufjörður with charm, comfort, and authentic Icelandic character. Highly recommended!

We stayed here over the weekend and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this place! It is quiet, cozy, clean, and beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The views from the house are absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable. A perfect place to relax and unwind. We would definitely love to come back again!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The views from the cabin were spectacular. Checkin was great and the owners were very friendly. The cabin was so beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Loved staying in and cooking, then taking a dip in the hot tub. 5 stars
