Pros- cute little apartment that is clean, peaceful, very easy check in process. Cons- seriously in the middle of no where. Must come prepared with gas in your car and food. there is nothing nearby. also, gravel road leading to the apartments is not the best.

Cozy, sweet little retreat. It was a bit off the beaten path and for a few uncomfortable 8pm moments we thought we booked something that did not actually exist :) Well, it's real and honestly in comparison to six other places this one won us over. It's not a luxury place, but it is so clean and so well maintained with radiant heat and nice loving touches like tea bags and coffee and little squares of chocolate awaiting us. Beds were comfortable, bedding soft and the way the two bedrooms were separated (there were four of us: two adults and two teens) was perfect. Great night stay after a full day of getting soaking wet exploring this absolutely amazing country.

Rooms were large and clean, which helped with my family of four. There aren't a lot of options in that area of the ring road, but it is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared for a 10 min drive off the ring road.

Unfortunately, this stay was not what we expected. The apartment itself was nice, but the location and setup made our experience less enjoyable. The road to get there is a very long gravel road, which became uncomfortable and time-consuming every time we wanted to go in or out. We felt like we lost a lot of time just getting back to the property. Another thing we didn’t love was the lack of privacy. The apartment has windows everywhere and feels a little bit like a glass house. Even though there are curtains, we still felt very exposed and like people could easily see inside from different angles. Overall, it may work for some travelers who want something very remote and don’t mind the extra driving, but for us it wasn’t the best fit.

Great views. Clean and great staff. A little difficult to get to but a fun drive through the lava field. Book directly with the apartments. Hotel.com was difficult to work with.

Clean, reasonable size. Very basic and smaller than pictures. Missing off things (utensils, plates, etc) which would have made it better (had some but not enough). Very small bathroom and slow WiFi. 10 minute drive down a gravel road to get there from the main road. Nothing else nearby, very isolated and no facilities on site. Underwhelming, expected more for the money we paid.

Located in the middle of nowhere basically, lovely apartment with a decent sized bathroom and kitchen. Nice amount of coffee provided which was highly appreciated

We arrived late in the evening and was a little confusion with the room but was rapidly fixed by the very friendly front desk. We loved the place, beds very comfortable. Great stay

No frills hotel in the middle of nowhere. Clean rooms with a fully equipped kitchen. Check in was smooth.

Loved this apartment! Great views from the property. We had about 15 minutes of drive off the main road on a gravel road which looked scary at first because the entire road looked so deserted. But we soon found out these types of roads are pretty common in Iceland. We were glad we already had brought groceries so we didn't have to go search for one around. But beautiful property and worth the price we paid. Enjoyed the morning coffee with the mountain view

Absolutely amazing stay - we had just stayed in hotels the nights before so the well stocked kitchen was welcome!

Ample parking, perfect location to see Aurora. Wonderful and understanding host. Great facilities, all round amazing experience, definitely recommend.

This property is accessed via a 12km track so it took ages to get there . Whilst the apartment was clean, the rooms were very small and only being provided with 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons etc was not proportionate to the price being paid. These apartments were the most expensive that we stayed in during our whole 11 nights. Would not recommend.

Enough space to park for all guests. Apartment was equipped in all essentials for cooking Nice and clean, comfortable bed! we had the best sleep
