Very noisy, just around the corner from police station so can hear sirens often, can hear people coming and going all night, slamming doors etc The window didn’t seal properly so when it was windy the blinds would swing and bang against window frame. Aircon in room sounded like a rocket taking off so couldn’t have on whilst sleeping. Friendly staff Convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants Easy parking Clean rooms

Perfect

Bit of a mixed bag, this one. The place doesn’t have any soundproofing, so you will hear people walking up and down the hallways and things going on outside. Unfortunately the room was quite dirty with dusty surfaces, rubbish under the beds, and one bathroom was so filthy we didn’t even use it. There were stains on the walls (tanning lotion?), the rooms looked like they had barely been cleaned at all, and the toiletries didn’t smell very nice either. We also weren’t informed about overflow parking, and staff seemed unaware of the free drink for Gold membership until we showed them our booking, and even then it wasn’t handled very well. That said, the restaurant staff at BASTA were really lovely and very accommodating. We were given a partial refund, but housekeeping needs serious attention.

Great hotel located in the centre! Fabulous cafes and restaurants around. Suitable for families, singles and retirees. Definitely worth a visit and recommend trying happy hour! Fantastic venue.

It was horrible the staff were so pushy and rude

Room is decent size. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious. Hot food and continental selections. Bar fridge was not clean. Air con was extremely noisy. Woke me up in the middle of the night. Could not sleep and had to switch it off. Bar fridge was also very noisy. Won't stay here again unfortunately.

Great location, easy check in, clean and modern rooms. Only drawback was the lack of acoustic treatment - every siren and motorbike came straight into the room.

Quite small rooms, doors opening and closing in the corridor are extremely loud.

Great location, lots of shops and cafe within walking distance. The mattress was very creaky and could do with a refresh.

Tried to cancel a booking before the stay and get a refund, they didn’t reply or give me a refund.

Very noisy! Doors slamming into late hours of the night. Bed was so uncomfortable! I could feel the springs in the mattress protruding into my bones. The absolute worst. Not worth the money charged. I was a so-called VIP with two beverages, allowance. however this was not offered upon arrival. I went after I checked out to redeem my rights to the drinks that should have been given as part of my checkin. I only found out after my phone could be charged. Staff not beaming with excitement to welcome.
