The best place to stay! The staff were always helpful and they helped me keep my reservation when flight was not able to happen at last minute. They kept rooms cleaned phenomenally everyday. I did not want to leave. The location to downtown and harbor was excellent yet far enough from the noise! Never miss a chance to stay there!

This was a lovely hotel, within walkin distance to the main strip and the staff here are super friendly! I'd highly recommend checking out this place if you're on Santa Cruz!

We selected this property as a last minute, emergency option. We were absolutely blown away! Simple, convenient, clean, accommodating....we couldn't have made a better choice. We would recommend this to anyone and we would stay there again with zero hesitation.

Note that this review is based on a father and 5yr old son travelling in the Galapagos Islands. We booked several nights here and it was one of the best choices we made. The hosts helped us on numerous occasions with advice, guidance, collected us from the ferry, and booked our taxi for the airport. The room provided was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and firm which was just what we needed upon our return from our daily tours. It is not far from the seafront and main street. There is a laundry on the corner, which was very convenient, and a lot of local shops, and nice cafes down the road. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel just 10-15 minutes away from the port and all the shopping and restaurants. The room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. We got complimentary water and coffee in the lobby. The rooms are quiet, have air conditioning and the staff speak English.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful and wanted to make sure your needs were met. Always hot showers and good working air conditioning. Appreciated the water in the lobby to refill bottles and they even put a jug in each room too. Location was a bit outside the central area but we always walked it, even in dark and it was safe. It was only like a 10 - 15 minute walk. We took a cab from the ferry with our luggage and it was only $2. They booked us a cab to go to the airport ferry for us. Very prompt in responding to emails and I had a lot of questions so very patient too!

The hotel is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, yet very walkable to restaurants and shops. The wifi was fast and dependable. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well which was welcome each day after a day out. We chose not to spend the additional $8 a day for breakfast. The room was very clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking was guidance on places worth visiting while on the island of Santa Cruz, although a recommendation was made by Julio for a travel agent we could contact. Overall, Hotel Palace is a great place to stay.

Lovely room with air con. Staff really helpful. Safe to walk about even at night. In easy walking distance to the town.

The hotel stuff are very friendly and helpful. It has been in short of water for two nights after a hot day (maybe a general issue in the island). They did try to help and provided a small bucket of drinking water for us to clean the face before the water came back in the morning. The hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast is exceptional.

Really great place to stay, has all the comforts and cleanliness you could hope for! We will for sure come back next time we’re in Santa Cruz.

Jose was excellent, he helped us get taxis, accomodated us for early breakfast, answered numerous questions. We were able to walk to restaurants, but were not in the hustle of the main tourist section. I highly recommend this hotel

This is a lovely hotel, located close to the Charles Darwin Centre. Jose took great pride in personally serving freshly prepared breakfast to his guests. We could avail of free water in the foyer to refill our bottles. We were not very comfortable with the lack of privacy using the bathroom .... in our room, (Iguana) the bathroom wasn't a separate room to the bedroom

The property was very well maintained with good service, centrally. It is a few blocks from the Main Street which made for a quiet stay.
