It had a French Colonial feel and the staff were very attentive.

Lovely old villa away from the bustle of downtown. The rooms are a little tired and dark but have what you need. Good things are the friendly staff and willingness to help. Re the rooms, the bathrooms don’t need baths and shower over a bath is not fun for a tired traveller. The window to the room is not good either. It doesn’t help with light and doesn’t feel private. I like bathrooms with walls. I have stayed Frangipani before and always enjoy so glad I stayed but I know Siem Reap very well now and know there are other fantastic places to stay which are just as good value for money. However I still recommend for first time newbies

One of the complaint would be the comfort of the bed but I think the overall stay was good. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, the pool was good and the service was very good.

My parents and I stayed for 5 nights. Overall it's a great experience, great value for money. Highly recommend! - Staff. Super friendly and responsive, smile all the time They serve well. We communicate in English smoothly. - Pool. The pool area is great, exactly like the pictures, and with a Jacuzzi. Great for kids and family. - Room. The hotel has 4 floors, 3 floors are rooms + 1 floor reception and restaurant. We stayed at 3F. My parent's room was west-facing and my room was east-facing. My room faces the neighboring building which is only 2 meters away. The neighboring building blocked the light and the room is dark during the daytime. Parents' west facing room is bright without any obstructions. The room is tidy and clean. The plug points in the wall were a bit loose. - Breakfast. Great with porridge, egg cooking station, local noodle cooking station, pancake, fried rice, fried noodle, toast, cereal, yogurt, sausages, milk, coffee, and juices. Open from 6-10am. Great breakfast. - Restaurant. I ordered room service for sandwiches, and it was served within 30 mins (quite fast compared to avg 45 mins for most hotels). The sandwiches are really good and fresh. Didn't try other things on the menu. The price is a bit expensive compared to pub street and local restaurants. (sandwch USD 6.5, mains above USD 10) - Others. The only inconvenience is on the last day of our stay, experienced 5-6 power breaks, each time maybe 1-5 mins.

The staff made our stay in Siem Reap an experience we will not forget. They were gracious, considerate and treated us as if we were individuals. The hotel itself is lovely, just the perfect size, the pool is a welcome site after a day of temple exploring, and someone there makes the best Singapore Slings I have ever tasted. The breakfasts are wonderful and the evening meals were good. We would recommend the hotel. Try to get a room with a pool view! Ours was lovely.

Location are not too bad, but hardly able to communicate with most of the staff due to most of them doesn't speak english. Only a handful of top position staff are able to communicate in english but they are not in the hotel most of the time!

Old and overrated hotel... pictures barely reflect the status of the building... claims to be 4 stars but is barely a 3

This hotel is like an oasis in the midst of the city. Has a pool and nice restaurant.

Hotel was great for the price we paid! The hotel property is very nice and had its own security, making our stay there feel secured and comfortable. Hotel also has its own tuk tuk drivers out front so at anytime you need to go anywhere it's very convenient. Also, we hired a taxi driver through the hotel named Lucky and he was super helpful! The hote arranged transportation to temples Beng Melea and Koh Ker. Lucky was great! Breakfast every morning was good and hote staff always friendly and helpful. Only complaints would be that the AC would take a while to cool things down in the room and that a few outlets next to our bed did not work. We mentioned it to the front staff but I think there was a language barrier. Also, our pillowcases and towels didn't smell too fresh. Overall, would stay again and would recommend.

Location: slightly far from centre, tuktuk takes couple minutes and costs ca. USD 2 from Nightmarket/Pubstreet Room comfort: thin walls, dirty linen and towels Breakfast: below average quality, disappointing cold breakfast option Eating in hotel very expensive (main meals from USD 7), many cheap and quality eating options in the neighborhood. Tuktuk price elevated, better options if you ask people on the street

Garden is nice, but the rooms are quite old. Bed is a bit old.

A pleasant place with a helpful staff. Managers did a good job smoothing out little problems. Street outside dusty and busy but only a block from the river.

Nice hotel- Tuk tuk ride to and from airport cost $6. Wat Bo close to temple is nice to drop in during evening. The area towards the royal palace is also nice for a stroll and quite nearby so not just the pub street!! Good eateries around, Cambodian food is tasty specially the barbecues. Breakfast at hotel was good-loved the noodle station.

We found the staff, facilities and service outstanding. The staff in particular were courteous, obliging and very respectful, and their advice regarding Siem Reap's tourist spots was always accurate.

I have now stayed in Frangipani Villa Hotel, Siem Reap 6 times. To me it is my home in Cambodia. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool is gorgeous and rooms really nice and clean. The ladies at the spa do wonderful massages which are very cheap compared to Australia. Their chicken on mashed potato with long beans doesn't sound exciting but I think it is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten!!! I love it there!

I had a good time in Siem Reap. People were very friendly, food was delicious, weather just right and the hotel lovely.
