The staff is friendly, and the location is a bit far from UNDIP, but easily accessible, and the road is good. Overall, I was satisfied with the facilities.

The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, pillows, and linens, ensuring a restful sleep. The ambiance is traditional Javanese, and there's even a batik gallery. However, the guesthouse's location is a bit secluded, making it a bit difficult to find.

My three-night stay at Niwa Canting was truly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the mattress, pillows, and linens were made of top-quality materials, allowing me to sleep soundly. The fried rice was quite tasty, but its location is a bit hidden, making it difficult for people to find. I got lost while searching for it on Google Maps, as I was told to turn off before reaching Jl. Rowosari.

The receptionist staff is not always there when needed, but there is a staff who is always on standby, namely Mr. Daniel, he is a room boy but always senior, thank you sir for making up my room every day, the place is very comfortable, suitable for those who want to refresh, calm and pleasant, there is no swimming pool, only a fish pond. Breakfast is lacking, because there are only 2 choices of porridge/fried rice, the taste is standard

Actually the staff is friendly and kind. But there was an incident where a staff member suddenly opened the door without knocking first, at that time the door was not locked because he had been out for a while. When the incident happened, my wife was not wearing the hijab and was wearing casual clothes, her private parts were visible. So impolite! Only at this point is it disappointing... and the staff only apologized modestly, as if it was a trivial matter. Hopefully this can be a lesson for the future. The other points are good, so it's really worth it to stay here, it's just necessary to always lock the room, so you don't experience an incident like mine.
