-The check-in code was late and I had to ask for it as it should have been emailed. -Floors are dirty with dust and human hair. Walls are dirty and marred. -No bed frame, just a mattress on the floor. Visibly soiled/stained mattress in the “loft”. -No body/hand/hair soap at all. All wall mounted dispensers were empty. Had to shower with dish soap my first night. -Dirty microwave, coffee maker and utensils. Dishwasher had items in it. Some on the pans are not compatible with the induction stove making them useless. Kitchen sink sprays water everywhere and cannot be adjusted. -Table was dirty with hardened sticky stuff on it. -Visible black mold in the shower. Water never gets hot, only warm. -Curtains do not block light well at all which is an issue when the sun sets late in the day. Curtains were all rigged and being held in place with industrial clips. -Couch was covered in hair and lint. -WiFi is terrible and I couldn’t get the TV to work at all. In summary, I was grossed out being in this place my entire stay and simply became more and more frustrated as I found more and more things that were not right. This place wasn’t cheap which makes this pretty unreasonable. Also for what it’s worth, the interior of the rest of the building was not very nice. Mattresses and other items being stored underneath the stairs as soon as you walk in. I also didn’t know that I would have to go up 5 flights of very narrow stairs to get up to my room. Pictures did not match.

For anyone looking to book this property, please look elsewhere. This apartment is disgusting. The Sofa bed had dirty sheets and the mattress on this bed was stained like I’ve never seen before in my life. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and the owner or property manager was not available to speak with! The apartment is located on the 5th floor, no elevator, 60 narrow stairs together your luggage to the apartment. We left, we could not sleep in such deplorable conditions. We were finally contacted over a week later and no apology or refund was given. I wish I could post the pictures I have of this property just to show what Expedia is promoting!!!

Starting with the positive, the location is very good. Easy to get into the city or to and from airport/train station. As for the issues, communication was poor. This might be a result of the host, or the booking service (hotels.com), or my phone not working well out of the country. We did not get check in information until requesting it, wifi passwords were incorrect, and how to handle garbage/kitchen quirks did not exist. On top of this, none of the contact numbers worked so we could not reach the host to tell them. The space was also set up for a smaller group than ours so we were short towels, pillows, blankets with no way to communicate this to the host. It seems like this listing is just starting out, and will eventually get the kinks worked out, but for now it was too expensive for a low level of service even in a quality location.
