Great welcome, lots of options at breakfast. Excellent location in the old town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Everyone from the front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, and housekeeping went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. The breakfast was like nothing I had ever seen. So fresh and so much variety. Everything was delicious! You will love your stay here!

This delightful, modern hotel is in the heart of the city and convenient to sights, restaurants and shopping. The staff were absolutely wonderful and wanted nothing more than to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a drink and with our luggage brought up to our suite. The suite was clean, modern and nicely appointed with a king-size bed, thoughtful lighting, spacious bathroom and two places to sit, wi-fi, clothes steamer and coffee maker and fridge. There was also a balcony with a table and chairs. Breakfast was incredible! So many hot and cold choices, freshly brewed coffee and fresh juices. It was a wealth of food riches. As appropriate to health codes, leftover food is boxed and donated to charity. I appreciate an organization that is charitable and supports their community. One can sit inside or outdoors on the back patio. They have a full bar and menu for throughout the day. The spa was very nice - well-equipped workout center, a steam room, sauna and hot tub (which was included in our suite stay). Very nice after a long day. The staff were just fantastic - friendly, attentive, helpful and take pride in caring for their guests. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete!

I reserved the hotel and SPA. No idea what the basement issues are but also unclear why why that meant no massage.

Staff could not possibly be more helpful or pleasant. Room was excellent and breakfast was superb.

We had an excellent stay! We were celebrating a special occasion and we were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade. The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. We even got free access to the spa (jacuzzi and saunas). The breakfast was also delicious and well presented. The room was spacious and very clean. The location is great too as it is a short walk to the main square with lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Just great stay!

I loved the central location near to great shopping, restaurants and cultural places. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast and brunch were delicious and we enjoyed the service and food served every day. On my text trip to Heraklion I would stay there again.

We had stayed there the week before as well and had a wonderful time on both stays. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the central shopping area, but on a quiet street without a lot of noise. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, comfortable and the bed and pillows were very nice. The breakfast was very good. In my last review I actually did not realize that there was a nice fitness center and a restaurant area. My fault for giving this hotel all the credit it deserves. This is a wonderful hotel and I recommend it.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The location is perfect. In the middle of everything. Yet it is on a quiet street with no street noise. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotless and well appointed. The breakfast was great. It is a small boutique hotel and does not have its own restaurant or fitness center, but it does have a very nice spa with lots of features. You can’t go wrong staying at Dimargio.
