not terrible because 3/10 for cleanliness the sheets the pillowcases the mattress was stained or even dirty equipment 3/10 the chair was torn the shower curtain support broken so water everywhere after the shower

When we first got the keys to our room, we got a used

This place is an overpriced dump. The location is fantastic; but, the room leaves a lot to be desired. No coffee maker in the room. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The front desk was unable to provide me with info on where I could walk my dog. The place is clean, but run down looking.

Convenient

A little old and beat up but cheap during the week.

The floor was slimy, like it was coated with vaseline. There were no towels, and only one lamp in the room had a light bulb. The smoke detector had been removed. The staff was rude, and dishonest. I checked out early, and while I was taking my things down to my car, the manager started yelling at me in the parking lot. He said I owed him money for the rest of my reservation, but I left before the checkout time, so Iconsidering the condition of the room, and his treatment of me up to that point, I refused to give him any more money.

Room was okay but the smoke detector was broken (pretty much just wires) and there was a stain on the corner of the bed sheets. The $100 deposit was only supposed to be a hold but was fully charged to my card the day AFTER I checked out and it was never refunded back to me even though I have reached out multiple times since my checkout date. I will most likely have to dispute the charge with my bank. I would not recommend staying here if you value your money.

Do not stay here. We are calling the city and reporting this place to the health board. We are demanding a full refund and will sue Expedia and Motel 6 if we do not get one. There is algae on the walls. Fire alarms ripped off the walls. Black mold. Windows and doors don’t lock. Bare wires . It’s a fire hazard and should be condemned. It’s a crime scene

I didn’t even stay there. I checked in and for few hours, when I came back I realized that there were so many cockroaches, the guy who was attending the office said that he can move me to a different room but I didn’t want to at that point, such a bad experience at that place. I paid my stay and also pay “protection for my stay” through Expedia, but neither Expedia nor this did anything about the situation. I got charged for “my stay” and “insurance” for my protection

Quiet

Its super cheap for the area, and you are paying for location ( plus $10 per day parking) . You can walk to everything in the presidio, all of chestnut, even the golddn gate bridge. BUt the motel is super dirty , the beds are very old. The bathroom was ALWAYS wet and the door refused to close. The AC didn't work well so it ran 24/7 just trying to stay at 70 in the room. Had i had known beforehand - probably would have shifted our money around and stayed further away and just taken the bus.

I’ve stayed at several Motel 6 and this one by far was the worst. The door had a 1 inch gap from the door to the frame the bottom about 8 inches of the door. The sheets seemed like they were 50 years old and one set was not clean. We went to the check in desk to ask if we could get clean sheets and the person seemed like they didn’t want to give us clean sheets but did after asking are you going to replace them yourself. We also asked for one more towel since there was three of us and the person responded with there’s already two towels in your room. Two towels for three adults?!?!? There were outlets missing the covers and 80% of the outlets didn’t work. The tv did not work either turned on but there was not channels available. There was a very unpleasant smell to the room as well. It was definitely not worth the money I paid to stay there. Definitely will not be staying there again.

Disgusting property. Cockroaches in the bed, black mold on the ceiling and restroom. Cigarette and urine smell. Sticky floor and towels that look like they were used for rags in a mechanic shop. Springy mattress and curtains from the 1970's. Sheets look like they are 30 years old and have never been properly washed. Loud at night with street noise and crazy people yelling. Super sketchy people and activities going on at night. Definitely do not stay here.

DO NOT GO HERE. There was no toilet paper, soap. The lock on the door was broken and they had a bandaid on the broken draw handle. The toilet seat was broken and the sink clogged constantly. There was also a hole in the wall. There was a hawk too

The room was pretty clean but there were roaches..lots of them. The shower curtain wouldnt stay shut because the bar holding it up had come unbolted from the wall resulting in water everywhere. The floor tile in the main room was peeling up in the walk way. I did maintenance for eight years here in the city. All the above are easy fixes, dont know why it would be rented that way. It did have a working tv though, which was more than the other motel 6 in the area provided.
