This is the first negative review I have ever written. The hotel is in a great location in Alfama but it is incredibly noisy. There was loud music playing throughout the night making it very difficult to sleep. The rooms are very tiny. The staff were unfriendly and, at times, downright rude. There is a nice breakfast included but they refused to let us eat it one morning because it was not quite 7:30. We had a booked tour and had to leave at 7:30 but the breakfast was out and available. They told us we were not allowed to have it. They were not nice about it. I would not recommend this hotel. There are many other options available.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable room. The area is very congested, although it is very convenient to many Lisbon sights and food restaurants. It is very quiet inside the hotel.

We went for a long weekend. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The only thing I wasn’t pleased with was the bed. It was a little bit too hard for me, that’s my opinion because I don’t like hard beds, those who do ,would love it. The room was lovely very pleasant. we had a garden view. we were very central . we managed to walk all around Alfama.

Perfect location in the heart of Alfama quarter, walking distance to many sites and restaurants. Breakfasts were great. The free mini bar was a plus. Thank you to Rita and Denilson for your outstanding service. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Very clean room and property. While the room was small, it worked well for our 1st night in Lisbon. The staff were excellent.

We have traveled a lot and during all my years in travel this was the second smallest room that I ever stayed in. It was a size of a closet. There was no place to even open your suitcase, no place to sit, you had to watch your head to get out of bed because of the angled ceiling. The shower is like in the RV. On top of it AC is regulated by the staff downstairs and if you want it on, you have to ask them to turn it on. If you want to have a temperature change, you have to ask them downstairs to do so. The view is of the wall and the back of the biuldings but they charge more for it. Anyway I would never stay there.

Good location for walking to sites such as the fortress and main cathedral. Lots of eating options. Hotel quite modern in refurbished building and very, very clean. Some noise on street side but great view of harbor. Staff generally quite helpful but occasionally surprisingly ignorant ( e.g., location and options for going to tile museum). We used taxis and Uber and generally walked. Having a personal car in this area is rank insanity. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is convenient for Alfama attractions.Room was spotless and the lovelly view from the window was of the sea front and the roof tops of the houses below. Staff were fantastic and so helpful. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. If returning I would probably go and use one of the many restaurants situated nearby. Overall a good experience but be prepared for the ongoing noise from the rumbling of the tramway rails both from the trams themselves and the many other vehicles crossing them. From very early until very late.

An absolutely amazing experience from check in to check out. Very attentive staff that went th extra mile to arrnage reservatioms, answer questions and take care of me. A wonderful buffet breakfast and evening snacks and drinks in a charming lounge in the lobby. Room was dmall but oh so cozy and had everything I needed to feel at home. Overloomong a viewpoint, listening to the hustle and buatle of city was wonderful. Quoet at night. Thank you for an amazing stay and your kind hospitality!

Clean rooms. Centrally located in Alfama. Unique charm with a bit of history. Nice staff. Cost paid on wotif doesn’t include city tax, was about 60 euros due at check out. Well worth the price for central location and high quality hotel. Daily temporary hold on card, small amounts that should be refunded after check out.

This is a newer, well maintained hotel in a great location. Although it’s on a very busy street, the soundproofing is excellent. The rooms are SMALL, with very little space to unpack anything, so if you like to spread out in your room, this may not be the place for you. Delicious breakfast every morning, friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.

VIP Access through Expedia is great - we loved getting a handwritten note and a bottle of wine upon arrival! The Alfama district had a lot of people asking for handouts and did not feel very safe.
