Visited as we were attending an exhibition at the NEC. Only 10 mins drive to the venue. Excellent accommodation. Absolutely spotless. Lovely room and a great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

I used this property as my base in Birmingham while I was attending an event at the NEC. It was so conveniently located the owners were so friendly and helpful that I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lodging, should I have another event in Birmingham? The property has been recently updated. I really like the modern bathroom facilities.

I knew then single room would be small based on the photographs, but it had been carefully planned so that everything you need was there. It was perfect for a single traveller for one or two nights. The host was very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. A very pleasant change from a bland chain hotel.

Great stay, needed a place to spend the night for an event at the NEC, and it was close enough to get a Taxi/Uber for less than a tenner. Host was very warm and welcoming, making himself very available for any extra requests necessary. Plenty of selection for the breakfast in the morning and what I had was very well cooked. Bedroom was comfortable, with the ability to alter the temperature to my liking, and a stylish bathroom. Would recommend anyone staying!

Very friendly, keen to make your stay pleasant. In the process of upgrading rooms. Parking is tight. Excellent location for NEC and airport.

Very friendly host in nice surroundings. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. Despite being on the roadside I could hear no traffic with the additional glazing Would definitely stay here again should we come back to the area

I liked James and Hansel, they were very nice and welcoming, and the breakfast was nice. I was though very surprised that the transfers from the station and back to the NEC weren’t free as the web listing implies they were. Also the shower was cold!

We booked a family room at Springfield Guest House and it perfectly suited our needs. The owners were very warm and friendly and keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible answering all our questions about the local area and places to eat/visit etc. It is a beautiful Guest house in a great location and spotlessly clean throughout. They also served us a great full English breakfast and arranged transport to get us to and from the Resorts Arena. They really couldn't have been any nicer. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family and I hope to return again soon.

Lovely place to stay. So cute and homely.

Expensive for the quality. Somewhat stingy on the supply of soap and shower gel etc - tiny bottles not replenished for 3 days. Room noisy with noise from floor above coming though ceiling. Poor ventilation in toilet filled the place with unpleasant smells from sewage system.

Great place to stay, quiet and comfortable, with treatment like one of the family. And a great breakfast, too.
