A beautiful little Riad just outside the Medina, but close enough to walk. Lovely welcoming staff who went the extra mile to provide a great standard of hospitality. A rooftop pool was a great asset for a cool down anytime of day. Large rooms with all amenities.

The riad in the middle I would say of the new Marrakesh and the old. It’s walkable journey to any parts of Marrakesh and is nestled in a quiet neighbourhood that has all amenities you would need

From the outside the Riad looks a bit tatty but once you get into the alleyway you enter a whole new world! It is a brilliant establishment, it is not a conventional hotel but a bed and breakfast on Steroids! (evening meals are available on site if required. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive they were available 24/7. we had airport transfers and a day trip to the Atlas mountains arranged for us, We were also offered helpful advice about the city. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Marrakech.

We loved the attention, courtesy and friendship of Karima and Muhammad. They made us feel at home right from the moment we walked in. Thereafter, anything that we needed they would be go out of their way to help. They also gave us many tour tips. They reserved restaurants for us and called for taxi, when needed. The place was lovely, quiet, clean and well decorated. It is outside the Medina, which has places where cars are not allowed and guests would have to walk a long way dragging their luggage. Not the case with El Hara. We were all very satisfied. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and relatives.

Beautiful Riad with wonderful and welcoming staff who made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The room was very well equipped and we loved the thoughtful little attention on arrival with fruits, water and nuts waiting for us on the table. We will definitely stay at Riad El Hara again.

As a solo female traveller, I recommend this place to anyone who likes to feel welcomed somewhere, at home, calm and at peace in a hotel. I felt like I was part of their family and they adopted my friend too that didn't stay here. This riad surpassed my expectations and was a great first stop for my first overseas trip. Karima and the staff were quick to respond to my requests and questions. It was easy to get a response by email to arrange a shuttle for me and my friend that didn't stay here and they welcomed us with open arms even if we arrived extra early in the day because of our overnight flight and offered us breakfast. I was even able to check in earlier since the room was ready earlier (thankfully, I was exhausted). The staff suggested restaurants, must see and tips for Marrakech. They also were there to help me and my friend with calling taxis, even late at night. The room was cozy, there's even bathrobes, the bed was comfy too and you don't hear the sounds from road. On the rooftop, there a pool which is refreshing when you are hot and lovely flowers that smell good and beautiful decor overall. Their breakfast is also good and very filling. People in the area are nice too, and it is close to the medina for awesome food and ambiance. I could go on and on, but I'm extremely grateful for this Riad and the wonderful people here. I recommend this place, it is worth it!

The property is neat and clean, and very posh! We had a fantastic experience staying there. The guest manager was very nice and cordial! She was welcoming from the moment we checked-in. She also helped us find Moroccan Black Soap and Nila powder in Marrakech. The area where the Riad is located may not look attractive, but the moment you step inside it’s a whole different experience.

The warm welcome, the special treatment on our anniversary by an up grade and a bottle of champagne and accommodating us for a late check out made our stay very special. Karima made us feel at home immediately and has an infectious smile and energy! Mohammed was helpful, too. Nothing was too much for them! Many thanks!

It is hard to express in words just how wonderful the Riad el Hara is. Karima, Mohammad and the rest of her team are extraordinarily helpful, kind, and welcoming. Karima treats you like your are family and checks on you to make sure you feel at home and have what you need to make it the most enjoyable and peaceful stay. The Riad is lovely with authentic the Moroccan and modern comforts. The spa is an oasis to receive traditional and western pampering. I will be very happy to stay here any time I visit Marrakech. The Riad is a short walking distance to the Medina and short taxi ride to lovely restaurants, the train and bus stations.

You cannot ask for a better place to stay than Riad El Hara. It is just outside of the Medina. An easy walking distance to key areas of interest and restaurants (especially if you go in the early morning or later in the evening when it’s not too hot). They also arrange for free transport to and from the airport, which is very convenient for those who have never travelled to Marrakech. But what makes Riad El Hara special aside from its beautiful interior rooms and garden courtyard is their amazing staff led by the lovely Kareema. She exemplifies Moroccan hospitality. Being greeted by Kareema is like being welcomed home by the most nurturing family member that you never want to leave. In fact, if you wanted to just stay at the riad you would have the most relaxing and pampered experience with delicious breakfast and dinners, as well as hammam and massage experiences. Thank you to Kareema and everyone for making our first and last night in Morocco an unforgettable experience 💗

Karima is a girl's name of Arabic origin, meaning "generous or giving." It is a feminine form of Karim or Kareem. Thanks for everything, see you soon
