The cottage was spotless on arrival, everything we needed was there fiona met us on arrival & explained everything to us & answered any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend staying in this cottage, we will definitely be back as we loved the quietness staying here

Lovely quirky and roomy property, set off the road with friendly but not overbearing hosts. Delicious home-made bread and marmalade.

We had a wonderful two nights at Gable Cottage. The cottage was lovely and clean, and nice and cool despite it being quite a warm day. Fiona was in touch with additional details ahead of our stay and was ready to welcome us on arrival. We visited the local pub in the village which was lovely.

Great quirky cottage, excellent location for visiting Rutland. Fiona was lovely, excellent communication and we really appreciated the welcome pack of groceries - very thoughtful. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the peacefulness of the place.

Nice play to stay near Oakham & Rutland water - clean and full of character with plenty of space. The area around is good for walks and further out Ruttland water is the main local attraction while Oakham is a lovely market town only a couple of miles away. The cottage is located very close to the local pub which serves great food
