Quick and 24hours communication and perfectly prepared all things in the room Only bad thing was lack of lights in the room. It was too dark in the night. But if i have another opportunity to travel in aborad, i’d like to book here again

Good restaurants nearby and supermarket. Bed was very soft. Well equipped kitchen some cups were chipped. Some noise from bin area in middle of the night.

Arrived at 3:00 to find cleaning staff in the middle of their work. Not what one expects or wants after 24 hours of travel. Had issue with getting into our flat on the last night. Electronic gate unlocked, electronic front door unlocked, apartment door would not. Definitely not what one desires after an evening in the rain. Online chat worked and worked at it before resolving after 10 minutes in the hall. Would not choose to stay again after experience.

Ottimo appartenento, molto comodo, pulito, silenzioso e ben arredato. La comunicazione è stata facile e veloce. Check-in ed ingresso tramite smartphone, comodissimo. Mi pare che abbiano anche molti servizi, ma restando solo una notte non ho approfondito!

Communication through the app wasn’t great especially when we could access the the front door.

The location was great not far from Oslo Central Station and Bus Terminal. A lot of restaurants, bars and groceries stores nearby. The apartment doesn't have AC. During the summer it is very hot.

Amazing in every way. Only negative isn’t their fault, and that’s people smoking outside below the building. 5/5 and I’ll stay at Bob W locations wherever they are if I am in that city. Cheers Bob!

My experience at Bob W Gamle Oslo was incredibly disappointing. The major issue with the property is the restaurant located on the ground floor. Upon entering, after struggling with their website, I was greeted by the sight of food scattered at the entrance, along with empty food boxes. The smell was unbearable, reminiscent of a dirty kitchen. Additionally, accessing the apartment was frustrating. It took me three to four attempts just to open the door. The beds and mattresses were subpar, and my back is still hurting from sleeping on them. I will never stay at this property again.

Spectacular is an understatement. Affordable, beautiful, safe, clean and a very comfortable 2 night stay in Oslo at Bob W.

Convenient location

Absolutely loved our stay at Bobs Place. All the attention to detail was impeccable. We’ve stayed in a lot of accommodation over the years and this was by far the best. Bobs place should be the benchmark for all other accommodation providers to live up to. We loved the extras like the Polaroid camera, coffee on arrival, yoga mats and how easy it was to contact Bob if we had any questions. Thanks so much for an amazing stay.

The apartment was very clean and sizable with kitchen and laundry machine. The furniture seemed adequate but I wouldn’t be surprised if it needed replacement soon. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast each day. We checked out as I write but left our luggage in designated secure area for pick up when we leave to catch the ferry to Copenhagen. You won’t be disappointed!

Great short stay! Only for the night, but it was a really nice place, very spaciuos and comfortable. Nices beds! Sea lesa check in and check out process. Will definitely look out for BobW in future trips!

I did not love my stay with Bob W in Oslo and I doubt, based on my experience, that I will ever stay at a Bob W anywhere. There is a sign in the apartment that reads that this is a boutique hotel. That is far from the truth. My first issue was at the onset of my stay. I could not get into the property via my phone. I had to call to be let in. Luckily it was resolved. My second issue came when we opened the building door and our senses were overwhelmed by the restaurant odor (which carried into the bath towels, unfortunately). Third issue was the lighting in the apartment - it is really bad. You cannot see anything at night. The bedroom lighting was so bad that we had to move all our things into the hall in order to pack. This small hall had the best lighting (though the light switches did not work well so you never knew if you were going to get this light). The floor lamp and kitchen ceiling light were worthless. My next issue was safety. One afternoon there was a drunk walking by who was spitting on people thus I did not find comfort in the gate being held ajar with a rock for hours. The nonstick pans are scratched. The positives about this place is proximity to the train and the east side of town. Oslo’s public transportation is great. Bed and bedding were clean crisp and comfortable. Having a wash machine was a plus. Shower had nice pressure and the soap/shampoo/conditioner were good. This place is probably a great for the right person.

Good communication throughout our stay. Apartment was very spacious. We enjoyed the benefit of an oven and washing machine. Public transport was readily available. Bus 37 stops across the street and the metro is close to Oslo central.

Had a super enjoyable stay at Bob W Gamle Oslo! From its attractive Scandinavian style to its relatively prime location, high level of cleanliness, extreme cosiness, excellent condition of the apartment and great customer service, there is basically nothing I can pick on. I have nothing but full of praises for this accomm. Extremely pleased and satisfied and def value for money. Would highly recommend!

The apartment itself is great with lots of little touches to make for a comfortable stay. We did not end up using the kitchen or washing machine but they did sway us when booking as good to have the facilities if needed. My main issue is the reliance on a mobile phone or other device that can communicate with gates and door to enter or exit. F you ran out of battery or had your device stolen there is no way in. I prefer a PIN code as less stress. I also did not have a phone only iPad without WhatsApp and this meant I relied on email and hotels.com message to gain details of apartment number. Felt quicker reply needed as was over 24 hours to receive one. Fortunately there is a number to call and I borrowed another persons phone to get details. I should have set up contact and provided personal details earlier and this would have been less stressful but the reliance on a device to enter and leave would remain. If that is not a deal breaker than recommend a stay.
