The room was spacious with very good facilities, and the swimming pool was great. The toilet by the pool was not working for 2 days, and trying to get information about the bus stops and stop location for the interbus service to Murcia City was a real pain. The hotel should keep details readily available for this in reception! Breakfast was included in price but was at best only average in quality.

Had a third floor south side terrace room and enjoyed the crashing surf sound. Room perfectly clean, with lotion, comb and very nice botanical shampoo and body wash. Large bathroom goes with large room. As usual, had two twins. Large panel TV, good wifi, parking on surface behind a gate. Breakfast included and paid for dinner buffet. Infinity pool, large indoor bar and pool, ping pong and air hockey.steps down to beach very clean and sparsely populated in late May.

We had a view of the water and it was BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommend

Location was fantastic, right on the beach, with lovely pool, as well. No food available between 3:00pm-8:00pm and dinner is only a pricey buffet, that wasn’t great. Breakfast is included and that buffet was much better. Old room decor & size. Dangerous small step out to balcony.

Previously visited in 1971 on family holiday as a 14 yr old teenager. Refurbished to high standard but disappointing that no hot drinks facility in the room and only 1 iron available for the whole horel and NO ironing board

The staff is friendly and try to get to you as soon as possible. Very nice sea view with direct access. The A/C was broken almost all the time, unacceptable for a 4 stars hotel in a beach. Also, the system to pay drinks at the restaurant and then the food at the reception each time is jusrlt ridiculous.

Hotel perched on rocks. Views off terrace on 3rd floor room were amazing. Slept with doors open all night to listen to the waves. Pool overlooks the south side of the ocean. Large, good pool chairs there as well as on the grass area. Pool bar - bartender was excellent& friendly. 1/2 board booked for stay. couldn't change. Breakfast buffet was good, dinner buffet was ho hum, but only did that 1st/3 nights. Great location @3km mark. walked south on beach to lighthouse. room comfy. 2 twin beds put together = king. that's how you had to book room. otherwise have double. We're 6'5 & 5"10. would stay here again. walk to bay side is 7 minutes directly west. Sunset bar there. gorgeous sun set!!! USA rank would be 3.5 stars, only because of age of hotel,but everything in hotel was spotless . housekeeping outstanding as well as front desk staff. Were there sept 19-22. (off season)

No frills. Beautiful beach setting. Good value. Smaller than iother hotelsin the area. Cartagenia is an under.appreciated city.

The hotel was spotless and there were many hand gel units located all over the hotel and it's grounds. Check in was very efficient and courteous and our room was superb overlooking the Med. We had breakfast and dinner and the food choice was good and all the restaurant staff were very helpful and efficient as it is no longer self service. You choose and staff serve you. Bar service was very good and drinks were very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a great location by the beach and also close enough to the main road if you want to wander!

Room was advertised as cartegena but was located in La Manga, over 20 minutes on freeway. Checked in after 2pm (room check in is noon). Upon entry to room, it was filthy-dirty floors, trash from previous occupant, completely unserviceable. Had to be moved to another room.

Enjoyable stay for 4 days. Very nice clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Lots of space to relax in front of the hotel and enjoy the view and sun. Good selection of food in buffet restaurant. Only criticism was the hot food was often only warm (not hot enough) and went cold whilst eating. Local area had a few restaurants and bars and was very Spanish which we liked.
