Check in is a bit tough after hours. I would consider myself very capable but this was confusing to get instructions, deposit payment links, sending phots of ID and then separate pictures of me holding ID etc.. etc.. but oveall great place!

I booked a place with 2 bedrooms, or so I thought. It was a bedroom and an alcove with a bed and curtain. That’s not 2 bedrooms. Also, pictures indicated there would be a desk - I had a long meeting so I picked that room, which was more expensive than the room they gave me. This is the reason I gave it 2 stars.

Construction happening in condo but no major issues as we were gone during day/evening so no disruptions. Easy check in process. Communication was great with hosts.

Very complicated check in process and will nickel and lots of fees you on everything. They also ask for a deposit via paypal which is sketchy. Very complicated and unpleasant onboarding experience. Only book if you have no other options or like 1 hour of spare time to waste .

Super comfortable and cozy! Near everything! I would definitely come back again!

This is a condo that is rented by Global stay that is listed on Hotels.com/Expedia. The location is great, close to everything. There's a bit of noise from all the trains and transit but for the location it's totally worth it. My only complaint is that it was very hot and stuffy and the window won't open and the AC was shut off. Also, this is a note for Hotels.com, totally not Globalstay fault but it wasn't made clear that this is not a hotel so there was a lot of additional procedure, deposit, cleaning, before I can get in and check out so it added quite a fair bit of annoyance to the process. I would make this super clear to the users before confirm the booking. (The deposit was not mentioned while booked, for example, and usually for hotels those charges are not posted, just pending, instead of charged and then refunded). Again, not Globalstay's fault at all. But the app need to manage that expectation

The building was under construction and I was given no advance notice of that, this also meant there was a smell in the building and unit. Check-in instructions were unclear (not clear how to get fob to use elevator to gain access to floor). The unit itself was old and had many items that were in need of repair (blinds didn't exist or were missing parts, tape holding floor connections together). I noticed other reviews that said this and the property said they had fixed it - they did not. Pictures did not match unit.

This stay was a complete miss. The property was dirty, with long blond hairs all over everything. It was also not disclosed that the entire building was under extensive renovation. Paint fumes throughout, scaffolding, banging and drilling. For one full day, our elevator access to the 19th floor was cut off entirely. The doormen team downstairs dont have answers to anything as they dont work with Globalstay, and if you arrive early there is no where to leave luggage. Value for money is miserable. Would steer clear.

Property in renovation really inconvenient no access to the parking lot too noisy

Upon arrival there was a very unpleasant smell inside the lobby and elevators. The hallways and room had an odor as well but not as strong. I did have to spray air freshener every time we came back to the room to make it not noticeable. Customer service was good they helped me get into the parking garage when the fob did not work.

Liked the location. Condo layout was acceptable. Terrible check in process, instructions were poor, no idea there was going to be an App required. Information received well after we arrived. Building is under renovation, this was not passed onto us. Blinds on patio door are broken. The walls and ceiling need paint. Floor transition strip is loose and taped, looks aweful. The second bedroom is just a nook with a curtain, only had room for the bed. Owner needs to step up and do some work.

Easy check-in and check-out procedure

Great place and will probably rent there again. Was just hard to figure out the parking and the entrance.

Easy to book and find. Parking was full but easily found patking accommodations neatby with little trouble. Commuting around toronto was a breeze as well. Hosts were kind and communicated clearly. This was an excellent trip.

Attractive property. Easy, yet initially confusing parking (separate fobs). Quickly sorted out with a phone call. Friendly, helpful front desk. Convenient central location for walking.

Excellent location. Clean. Excellent value for price. Not a hotel but recommend.
