Cannot recommend people to stay here enough, it was fanstatic. Lovely breakfast and staff are so helpful. We loved it!

Pearl in the desert! We can highly recommend to stay at the Quelana . It's a beautiful, super friendly and tranquil oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. The breakfast is outstanding. We would return any minute!

After having passed through San Pedro de Atacama on the way to the property, we were so pleasantly surprised by the contrast that experience provided. The hustle bustle and dust of SPA was left behind for a quiet lush shaded oasis in the desert. The cooing of doves in the trees greeted us to our home for the next five days. The welcome we received from the staff was superb, and that experience stretched across everyone there. Breakfast was a joy every day, greeted with warm smiles and offers of a wide and completely satisfying spread of tasty foods. The room was spotless, private and oh so quiet and peaceful. The location offers easy access to the town, as well as the wider Atacama area. When we return to the Atacama, Quelana will be our first choice for base of operations. Thank you all!

Beautiful lodge just outside San Pedro. Taxis are about £5 and reception will call for you, restaurants are more than happy to arrange a return. It is away from the bustle of San Pedro and very peaceful. Staff are brilliant. We had a standard room, there was sufficient space, it was spotlessly clean, well equipped and well presented, we were very impressed. There is a lovely pool area and each room is self contained with outside seating. Only breakfast is served, this was very good, on other days we ordered the packed breakfast which was always ready for us and enjoyable. We felt well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and the lodge itself is a beautiful place to stay.

This is an oasis from San Pedro. Paula and staff were so kind and helpful it made a great stay perfect. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC which you need here. Pool area was beautiful and breakfast is great!

Immaculate lodge style hotel! Everything is super new and well maintained. Staff very friendly. The included breakfast was delicious, including local touches. Each lodge room is very private, and during our stay the whole atmosphere was very peaceful. I would return 5*

Our 5 night stay at Lodge Quelana was wonderful! We wanted to stay at a really nice, relaxing and quiet hotel while in San Pedro de Atacama and Lodge Quelana was perfect. We loved coming back to the pool and relaxing at the end of each day exploring the Atacama. The rooms, service, staff and breakfast are all wonderful! All of the staff are so lovely and helpful, particularly Paula and Nadia. It is a 7-10 minute drive from town so best to have your own car. We highly recommend staying there if you want a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Just a short distance from San Pedro, yet a quiet oasis.

Wow. What a great place to stay! Out of the city, which was nice. I think you certainly need a car if you’re wanting to stay here. Very quiet and the staff were incredible! Really made our trip to the Atacama special. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the pool side was lovely on our rest days or in between tours. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge Quelana. Our room was lovely. The best part was the staff. Natalia was super amazing as were the breakfast staff. Natalia spoke great English and was so helpful with everything. Great vibe in this place. It's a quiet hidden away spot. Highly recommend.

Great and quiet, great experience with helpful staff

Perfect choice when visiting Atacama! The Lodge is beautifully designed. The rooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. Each is extremely private. The staff are remarkable - everyone was super friendly and helpful. It's located a mile or so outside the town, so you need a car, but the result is peace and quiet and less dust. Very highly recommended!

I had the most amazing stay at Lodge Quelana. One of the 3 accommodations with air con in Atacama, it is located out of town so you need a car unless you are happy to pay the small 6k CLP fee to get to town. The area is serene and beautiful though, out of the noise and dusty bustle of the township. I struggled with the altitude and heat so this place was a godsend. Breakfast was lovely and variety was decent for the included meal. The best thing about Lodge Quelana was the exemplar service. Best service I have ever received from a hotel from my travels worldwide. Natalia in reception was so accommodating and extremely responsive, going the extra mile to make my staff even more amazing such as ordering me my taxis even when I was in town and wanted to get back to the lodge, or making me a breakfast tray when I came back from a really morning day tour (at 1pm!), or being very generous with a late check out for me. Thankyou for being a luxurious and nurturing hotel in the desert, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Great property. One of the very few hotels with AIR CONDITION. Everyone was very nice and even offered to provide breakfast to go when we checked out. The shower was extremely nice as well. I would highly recommend especially if you rent a car.

Fantastic experience. The lodge is truly an oasis in the Atacama desert. Not over the top luxurious… just a quiet, lovely and spacious facility. If you are renting your own car then this is a fantastic option. It’s only 5 min outside of town but it has the advantage of being apart from the bustle and noise of the town. Yet easy enough to drive into town for meals or supplies. At Lodge Quelana, everyone was super helpful and nice. Natalia and Paola are true credits as service personnel. They were more like concierge service folks than receptionists. The pool was nice and rooms/baths new and clean. And big! The place is quiet and has access to a platform for star gazing. I’m so glad we picked this spot.

We had an amazing time at Lodge Quelana. Would recommend to all. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Nathalie helped us plan our stay on arrival and had great suggestions for the area. The facility is very clean and had all (and more) amenities needed.

The lodge is an excellent place to stay for those who want comfort in peace and quiet. Located just outside San Pedro (a few minutes by car), it provides everything necessary for rest, relaxation and rejuvenating yourself after your Atacama experiences. Cabañas are spacious, comfortable and very clean. But what made it especially worthwhile for us was an outstanding level of service. Many thanks to Natalia (who was a huge help in solving a frustrating problem) and Paula at the reception desk who both went above and beyond to respond to our questions and needs as well as Jenni and Naya in the breakfast room who did a great job. If we could, we would have stayed longer.
