The lady that checked us in was very kind and switched us to a room on ground floor. Room initially smelled bad. Was given a bottle of sour apple scented spray to use. Didn't cover smell very well so we used our own cologne to help. One of the things we asked for when we made reservations was a swimming pool. Wasn't told that pool was closed. But seeing the pool after check in was obvious that it was not usable. We've stayed at this motel before and was very satisfied with accommodations. But motel has changed hands since our last stay, and I would not recommend staying unless major changes are made. Such as cleaning, repair to walls and bed linen changed rooms and hallways need to smell clean. If pool is out of order, please say so before check in.

Filthy!!! Top sheet had fresh stains… gross! Messy paint job left toilet looking like poop smears. Saw two mice run by… zipped everything up and left. Stopped by front desk and told the desk clerk that I expected a refund as I could not sleep there. I needed the sleep and ended up caught in a bad storm stuck in my car the rest of the night. Anything was better than this motel six in South McAllister!!!!!

My reservation was supposed to have a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The first room I was put in had a mini fridge but was very dirty and dusty and HOT. I went to front desk and was moved to another room. That room didn't have a mini fridge or a microwave. The front desk lady had me move the mini fridge from my old room to my new room on my own. Later on there was an extremely friendly front desk lady who had a microwave brought to my room upon request. At least I didn't have to carry that!

Doors down stairs were all open . There was an older lady that checked us in . Very sweet, but not cool at check in. Not sure if AC was out or just didn’t want it cold. Okay place to just lay your head.

Staff was rude. Pool wasnt working. Room was dirty when we got there and the tv or wifi did not work.

Was not impressed. No internet so no TV available. Pool had green water and was not usable.

No fridge in room no microwave Towels terribly stained Room appeared to be clean when you first walk in but after looking around it’s pretty dirty Stuff dripping down the wall, pubic hair on shower walls etc.

No microwaves in rooms, there were flies in my room, could not work the tv, no ice available, and the vending machine didn't work

laminate / vinyl floor was layed improperly. It felt like walking on a dirty sponge. The glue they used was visible though cracks in the flooring.Pretty disgusting. Then i noticed in the morning that the sheets on the bed were badly stained ewwww. Next was the very poor job of painting. Splaters on barhroom counter. Looked like that in bathtub also. I didnt look at it closely but it was either paint or dirt. It was just an awful place.

Property under going remodel and feels it needed a little more time to finish. First room didn’t have working lights. Staff was very friendly.

The rooms were trash all over the floorsand the beds had no sheets on them and the toilet was stopped up. I had to cancel my reservation and stay somewhere else.they said they would refund me but the charged me a second time days later never giving me a refund for the 1st time.

The stool was filthy. The first room had a large amount of poop under the stool seat and pee on the stool rim. I asked for a second room and it had the same thing. The second room had a fresh stain on the sheet. The property was nice enough and there was a great restaurant next door but the bathroom and linen were filthy.

I chose this hotel because of the Retro decorated lobby in the pictures but I learned when I arrived that the Retro pictures are not current. The hotel is in a renovation project that was nowhere near complete. My room had 25% of the curtains falling off the rack; I had to try to put them back on the wall without any connectors. The bed did not have any top sheet or bedspread. Their washing machine was broken and they had just gotten it fixed that day so I didn't get my towels until 7:00 PM. The hall from the parking lot to the rooms was not locked. On the Pro Side, the room was clean, quiet and in a safe location and the price was way below their competitors. For a One Night stay, I would stay there again but for a 7 Night stay, I would look into staying somewhere else.

Property management need training . The environment is in bad shape. Nothing would make me stay here ever again. Bathroom had bugs dead on floor. Light shade was on top of vanity. Towel not washed and smell dirty. No soap. People yelling at night. Doors being slammed all night. Management would not to do anything about it. Just overall this location has won the worst of the worst.
