The most beautiful stay in Zermatt. Everyone was amazingly friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible. The room was outstanding! Modern twist what made it super exciting and beautiful! We loved it and will be back!

Absolutely lovely stay in the family suite. The staff stored our luggage for us, when we arrived earlier than expected. The welcome tea was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast was great. the room was beautiful, and very clean. My kids loved the use of the hot tub and cold plunge. Easily walkable from the train station, and great location downtown!! Would absolutely come back!

Very cute hotel. Beautiful view from breakfast room. Plenty of spa amenities included. 4 minute walk to train station.

Where do I start. We had booked for two nights but got hit with an incredible, once in a century, snowstorm. This led to nearly 2 days of no electricity and three days of no trains leading to us needing to stay four nights instead. I can’t praise the management and staff enough for the care, service and hospitality they showered on us. What could have been a nightmare turned in to an unforgettable experience and we can’t thank them enough.

We had an incredible stay at Backstage hotel. The staff were always so welcoming and ready to help. The room and available amenities absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place with unique architecture. Perfect location. I would recommend to everyone and stay again!

Great option to stay sleep and eat in the heart of zermatt

Very nicely decorated, soft sheets, very good breakfast, very centric location. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful, including the bed breakfast staff. And Carmen at the front desk was great! She gave us great recommendations! Freshly squeezed OJ! Good variety of food items. The bed was very comfortable, amazing views from the deck. The spa was fantastic too and it was included. We had daily beverages in our bedroom and snacks and it was included too. We would definitely stay there again. And needless to say, Zermatt was just amazing!

Decent hotel. Renovated in 2012 so starting to feel a little bit tired around the edges. Great location

Excellent hitel

We loved the hotel. The room was amazing, with views of the Matterhorn and staff were always helpful. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, some of the blinds and windows were broken and the room was advertised as the Sky and Stars suite, yet some roof windows wouldn't open and were clearly broken and some of the roof blinds were either missing or broken and unable to open, one of them directly above the main bed.

The hotel is very well located and easy to access from the shuttle station on foot with suitcases. Our room had a terrific view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very courteous and the included breakfast was sufficient. The air conditioning lacked power to cool the room in the heat of summer but it was better than no A.C at all. Would return to the same hotel in the future.

Highly recommend. Great location. Great food md service. My wife found the bed too firm but outside of that the place is comfortable, and welcoming.
