Very convenient; laundry amenities, full kitchen, living room, etc. Comfortable and clean enough. Good location. They brought us more towels when requested through their app. Some small problems though. WiFi was unreliable (which posed a problem for me as I was trying to interview for a job). Strange smell in the building hallway. Impossible to use TV without Roku account, which we didn't have. I'd stay here again; overall it was a good find.

The room was excellent and had all the amenities you need to feel like you’re home. The property is walking distance from all public transportation. The building itself is beautiful. It’s hard not to stare at it. Loved that there was an Aldi walking distance to have by a few groceries during my stay.

This is a perfect location for a Philadelphia get away. Great coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Far enough away from Center City that parking is easy. The gym on the property is excellent and well maintained. The apartment itself was generous with space and amenities. The only downside was the water pressure was struggling. I had my dogs and they even organized a late checkout. What a gem!💎

This was such a cool place to stay. It's a two bedroom loft apartment in an historic high school that's been converted into apartments. It has an amazing gym housed in the old gymnasium with an upper level wooden track. And it has a really cool common area with a pool table/table tennis/foosball and library. We're a family of four with two teenage boys. I love having them in their own room vs all of us crammed into one room on two queen beds. And it cost less than staying at a traditional hotel. I do have a few caveats. A key fob to enter the building is left in your room. It didn't work very well at all. Sometimes we would fiddle with it for several minutes before we could get in. Other times, building residents would take pity on us and let us in. There is a "front desk" but it's not affiliated with the hotel portion of the building. Not sure what would happen if you actually needed something like towels or an extra blanket. We bought a roll of toilet paper when we were running out. That said, SoSuites does have a check in portal with very good instructions. I contacted them twice with questions relating to parking and check out and they were super helpful and responsive. The West Philly location is very residential and quiet. Not touristy. Easy walk to the Market St Septa line. We parked at a garage on 34th, but were able to find on street parking a block away after we needed to take the car out and go to Midas for some maintenance. Overall, loved it!

The idea of these apartments in an old renovated high school is cool, but the reality is not so great. The building seems a bit tired and not very clean. The “contactless” check in doesn’t quite work, since the fob to get in the building is inside the room inside the building. Etc. Nice idea, but not great follow through.

This is a mixed review. On the whole,we were content. The property met our basi needs, checkin and check-out were easy. The loft was spacious and the unit has the basic unit amenities. There is also a large club space with a pool table and ping pong, and a well appointed gym. On the other hand, while the building annoints itself as a luxury complex, our unit was rather ordinary. Furniture is older and on the cheap side, the shower pressure in the upper bathroom was weak, the exhaust vents dusty, the flooring un remarkable, and all of the walls should be painted. We did enjoy some of the ethnic food spots nearby, but on the whole, the immediate neighborhood is either slowly on the upside or descending to the downside. Hard to tell.

The suite I was in needs a paint job, BADLY, and is in need of a deep cleaning. The walls are very dirty and is peeling. The unit was filthy. I requested another unit but was told none was available. I was uncomfortable my entire stay. The place smelled like pee when I first walked in. I texted to let them know and they sent someone the next morning to "re-clean" the bathroom. She came with a little sponge and a bottle, no mop and used no water. She was done in less than 2 minutes. I think because the entire 3 bedroom unit only had one window in the livingroom/kitchen contributed to the odor. The apartment was very dark and stuffy. All 3 bedrooms had no window, and were so dark and stuffy. The suite I was in was on the first floor, so it was very noisy. Babies crying all hours of the night, doors slamming, people talking very loudly all hours of the night. They also require an additional fee/deposit before they will allow you to check in, and they hold it for 7 business days. They charge additional fees for missing key fob that is used access the building, which was missing when I checked in and they told me one would be provided to me the next day, which I never received. I made sure to take pictures of all the dirty walls, floors and cabinets the same day I checked in, to ensure they did not try to blame me for the dirtiness and missing key fob. I would never stay there again nor recommend this place. Maybe the other units are in better shape, unfortunately not this one.

Close to public transport to get into Philly. Parking was not too bad- look for the signs! Building perimeter ok- not across the street!

Cool place that has been remodeled. Area not the greatest. Gym is old & hot, but lots of equipment that gets the job done. Our loft was spacious for 4 of us & quiet. Didn’t look like they were completely done cleaning before we got there—dishes in the dishwasher, no shower curtain upstairs (found in the dryer), dust on AV units & bathroom fans. The shower curtain in the first floor bathroom was too short so water got everywhere. Management great with communication & our concerns.

The property is spacious, clean and has everything you might need. Not too many dining option. However, it is not too far from U Penn or the train station to go to downtown.

First, the space is amazing and was perfect for our situation. Three separate sleeping spaces and a small kitchen space is exactly what we needed. On the layout alone, I would 100% recommend. For the cons: some things are very tired. The bathroom faucet was pretty corroded. The microwave was missing the circle that helps the glass turn and keeps it stable, pots obviously were overheated by previous users, shower curtain rods were hung too high in both showers and didn’t stop the water from getting on the floor. Towels, bedding, etc were clean but things like light switches and baseboards needs some cleaning. This was a wonderful use of an old building. It could just use a deep clean and a few tweaks. I’ll be back again for a track meet at UPenn in June…I’m not sure where I’ll stay.

Great neighborhood. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Fairly quiet. As one who has allergies, I was slightly disappointed with not being able to use the ceiling fan. The blades were covered in dust, and I couldn't reach them to clean. Should be cleaned/wiped periodically. Also, there is a need for exterminator services. Seems like the apartment is running on "auto-pilot" with basic cleaning being done between customers but without the deep cleaning necessary that should be done quarterly or so. Overall, a pretty good stay.

The loft was very spacious. Everything worked and was very clean. The gym size was great, and the lobby work space was so nice to work from. There’s a few restaurants and bars in the area, a little bit of a walk, but still close to good options. It was a short ride into downtown with easy ride share access.
