Quiet, clean, safe, easy to access and super nice owner!

Only 13 minutes from Wall Drug but much less expensive. Very quick and easy check in system. Right off the highway for easy access.

If I hadn’t read previous positive reviews about the Redwood Motel, I never would have stayed here. The property is one I normally would not consider, especially as it looks driving in, however, I’m so glad I trusted the reviews. We stayed in Room 21, a king room. The room was clean, there was a basket of snacks, and the cooling unit worked great! The bed was comfy, with lots of pillows, and the room and area was so quiet and peaceful. The shower was fantastic, and the extra touches in the room were thoughtful and appreciated (extra towels, a fluffy makeup wash cloth, and of course, the snacks as already mentioned.) Stacy was awesome and we felt welcome! I will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and had an outside seating area at the front door if you desired to watch the freeway cars drive by. A great place to stay.

A bit stale.

Very friendly check in. I love that. The property shows it's age, but there's nothing overly wrong with it. It's clean and no bugs. What more can you ask for? 👍

Great little roadside motel in Wasta. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. If you are headed to the Badlands and aren't a fan of tourist traps skip Wall and stay in Wasta instead.

Nice clean.

When we first drove up, I wasn't sure about the motel, but when we went into the room I was surprised about how nice it was - the room was clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the room was decorated really cute - we had a great stay!

Mostly good. But only one light in the main area. there was a chair, but it was pretty uncomfortable. I had to move it be the light outside the bathroom to read.

Wasta bar was awesome.

Very good. Cozy bed, hot water, snacks. It was awesome! I didn't expect that.

This motel is exceptional! Extremely clean and quiet, had amazing amenities, and the motel itself is adorable and has such a vintage South Dakota feel. Perfect for people with dogs as well! This was my third summer staying in the area to visit the badlands, and staying at this motel in Wasta was a much more enjoyable experience than staying in Wall. I could not recommend the Redwood Motel more!!

Pet friendly, cleanliness, snacks, fridge, microwave, quiet, comfortable bed, easy checkbin and out and pull up to door for easy unloading.

Great motel in a small town.

very small rooms for the price plus I had to dump my first cup of coffee out because there were ants in it from the ants in the room. Other than that everything worked well, the bed was comfortable, and I liked how I could use my Prime TV from home by just signing in.

We were not able to check in when we arrived at 9:45 PM. No one answered the door bell after multiple attempts and no one picked up the phone at the number indicated on the door. We tried for 15 minutes to reach someone and finally gave up and found other lodging.
