I was greeted by an extremely helpful member of staff who checked me in and showed me to my room. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small ensuite. The biggest problem was soundproofing, or lack of. The people in room 18 decided to have a loud party at 10pm, an hour later I had to ask then to turn the volume down; another guest appeared at the same time with similar demands. Later, other noisy guests arrived. Earplugs are essential if you don't want to be disturbed. "Breakfast" was rather disappointing, which was just a fridge filled with stodgy bread, bacon and eggs; the idea was to cook it yourself if you wanted to eat.

Overall disappointing. Good location for our needs. Room, bathroom and communal areas were clean and bed comfortable. However the room stank of cigarettes, the TV reception was poor, so unable to watch many channels and there was no water overnight in our room. In the morning the shower was powerful enough, but the water was lukewarm at best.

Yes great parking bays, breakfast available even though not a much choice as a previous visit very limited.

More of a hostel feel than hotel… no true reception area, we were greeted by, potentially, the cleaner? The room was nothing special, incredibly basic. The oven was broken. The shower unit was filthy. Overall, considering what was advertised we were severely under impressed.

Excellent in every way except for some minor niggles eg not sure about noise insulation as could faintly hear TV in another room until 1am. Otherwise excellent and already booked to stay again

Breakfast is a fridge with eggs and bread. My room had a creaky ceiling so whenever someone above me walked, you could hear everything! Train was going by my room window. Not the best stay. Defo not going back.

Surprisingly very clean. A bit noisy with people. Especially early in the morning.

Shops was not far away as well with the station too, few web on the wall and staff was polite and friendly

I've marked 4 in respect of cleanliness. Our room was clean but I marked down because of the kitchen. The manager Joe is constantly it but it is a communal kitchen and is often left dirty by other guests, despite the notices asking them to keep clean when they use. Joe works tirelessly trying to keep the facilities of the premises in good condition. Parking is available for about 4 cars on a first come first served basis.

Communication is poor.. I informed them that I will be checking in late and gave them the time that I will be arriving but I was not given check in instructions in time.The property has no reception accept for a lone caretaker. Advert says parking is free but there’s only enough for 6 cars .Parking along the street is strictly permit holder only between 8am -6:30pm. So if you have to park on the street you need to make sure you move your car before 8am… no reception.

I checked in and left straight away. The room was very basic and too bright and I did not feel it was a very safe environment. The man who gave me the card for access to the room could hardly speak English and I could hear a baby crying the few minutes I was in the room. I went there as I needed some quiet time to do some paperwork and unfortunately this didn’t work out. I will go to the premier inn in future which is a much nicer place and about the same price.

Its okay as a cheap location to sleep.

Easy access with key card that gave access to the room and building. Shared kitchen had basic supplies and breakfast which was an added extra. Room also had a simple kitchenette with fridge. Bed very comfortable. Only criticism was room was very warm.
